Even my USB one is pretty crap at seeing the trichomes. I've seen pictures of really nice clear trichome images.

This is the USB microscope I have

Like I said it's good but the images are pretty grainy... here I'll try to get some images up....

Hey guys, thanks for the comments.The one I have is a super cheap one from Ebay.



It has an LED on it that works well, don't get me wrong it's cheap from China material. But basically I held it up to my phone camera, takes a steady hand but works! I then just zoomed in a little on the phone and cropped the pictures. I was surprised how well they came out too.

Shame there are is no way I can upload videos here, got some cool stuff but not going to put it on YouTube!

Just looked at your link HappyH, you would think with 400x you'd be able to see freakin molecules with that thing! I'm no photographer, but I believe its all about the lighting. Would work a hell of a lot better in your grow space under the lights. Mine seems to work better under the 6400K.

note: it really only seems to work at these two zoom rates. Also it has build in LED's which i use to light the bud. Without the leds on the most zoomed in level is extremely dark for some reason. I'm quite disappointed with this setup to be completely honest. It's very hard to hold steady and zoom in or out enough to see the trichome heads at full zoom level (which you have to used because zooming out any more than full zoom and it won't work to see the trichome heads.)

Bored so a quick update :niceshot:.

The Auto Assassin is really coming along. Week 6 and no sign of any problems yet. I've made it past my 4 week mark without killing it anyway lol. It's only in a 4 litre pot but it's as tall as my Sugar Mango which is in a 6 litre pot.





And the White Widow photo I have, ha, well topped her a few days ago and she is just going for it. At an alarming rate. Not sure what I'm going to do with her yet. Maybe just find somewhere outside!



Oh and what the hey, just for the sake of it...Sugar Mango Ryder. STILL putting on weight and slowly losing her fan leaves.

I get the feeling my journal has fallen apart a little, Is anyone reading this anymore? I hope so.

Well I'm pretty shocked at the Auto Assassin! Short Stuff seeds man, they are the tits! This thing has overtaken the Mango in size and it's in a smaller pot. It's getting out of hand, I desperately need to do some LST but there is no room at the Inn!
I'm guessing the Sugar Mango has a week, and the White Widow is getting fookin' huge back there! Hey don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, it's all good fun, I've gone from dying plants to having too much foliage to cope with!

I just took some basic cab shots, it's getting crowded in there-in a good way! I don't care the lower branches aren't getting light blah blah blah, this is fun and I'm about to have my first successful harvest of what looks and smells like tooty fuckin fruity (get the quote?!):dance2: .

Is there anyone out there!!!!

What's going on man? How do you know it isn't a auto?

Even if it is a photo may I recommend that you just keep it in veg for the full time of the autos.
Then as soon as the autos are down....boom make the switch and 8 weeks till more bud. (This is an estimate, and in no way does 'dude coperation' guarantee this time scale lol)

Just keep topping and LST to keep the height down.

First time I've done this, and its been in veg for about 6-7 weeks and will be a few more yet.

Don't know about putting her outside, man.
If you're in the UK just don't mate...not with it with the others on the go.

Have you any space or money at all?

Mine is in a 60x60x160 tent but it has a bit at the top for small stuff so I lose about 60cm. I just have a clip on fan to circulate air but no carbon filter or extraction. Works well. It just has a 125wcfl in.



You can get some real small tents now real small.
60x60x100 40x40x100 75x75x100 some 120 high,140, 160 etc just ask if you need pointing in a direction to look.

Or you could knock one up very cheap but I reckon for a max of £80 you could have a good veg tent.
