Harvest & Curing Why does my uncured bud taste like soap? Chlorophyll or I flushed nutes.

I have just given my dried but uncured bud a sample and it tastes heavily of soap, I've never had this before but this is my first time using chemical nutes, biobizz before. Is it Unflushed nutes? Or is it just a chlorophyll taste that will dissipate with the cure. Anyone ever had this? I won't be able to vape it tasting like this.

Did you flush? And by flushing did you give just normal phd water for the last week with no nutes ot did you actually flush it as you would in a periodic flush? With what runoff ec did you end up before you made the chop? the dying chlofophyl will definately have an shitty taste to it, 5 days drying in right conditions and 1 week in a jar daily burp then that taste should start disipating given ofcourse you flushed it properly imho..

Cheers. Gave a one week flush of just ph'd water with about 10% run off each time. Was 9 days since its last feed at chop time. Don't have a meter to read run off. I run nutes by eye. The taste is like that tingling feeling you have on your tastebuds when you get soap in your mouth. Nice high though.

Well there is nothing you can do now anyway besides let it cure and hope for the best, should be fine from what you are saying, btw, its not suppose to taste good before curing so dont think u hav anything to stress about

I dry my buds 5 days and after I taste it and it don't taste good :-( humidity 60% how much hours I need to open the jar for fresh air?

all depends on the strain, I can bag erb for 4 days and it tastes good,not great but good.
Others wont, my cream I grew, hell I smoked all the popcorn buds over other erb I already had. the taste was great.
if hung dry,your on your on, always smells and taste like grass to me.
but yeah, do your cure if around 65%.

Hey andi. If your buds are 60%,jar them,check humidity throughout the day.
It will probably come back up.
You want it about 65. Then just burp daily for a week or so. Once your back down below 60, then you can go longer.

Just a little update. My buds are absolutely fine. No soapines or anything. Amazing what a week can do.

With chem nutes, I'd run the cleanse 2 full weeks, personally. dry down to 62%RH and jar and burp once in a while and get em close to 60 and drop a 64 bovida in the jar for the long cure, if you want it hangin around for a while.
