New Grower WileyWilly's NL Virgin grower

They should sex around 3 weeks give or take. Look for little white/clear/greenish hairs at the top node. Usually pretty obvious but I have brought many plants that far.
The males will have balls, literally. Pollen sacs that will pop out.
Bark isn't great and those numbers are the NPK. Nitrogen Phosphporus and Potassium. Seems too high there.
I was hoping someone else would suggest another soil that perhaps I dont know about. I dont wanna tell you to go across state or anything. :D

Couple of questions. They have stopped stretching for sure. Great call on having the fan blow on the light. :booya: so do I need to start raising the light a little bit ?. Would that be the way I get spacing between the nodes or is it still just baby leaves coming in ? the plant that was soaked before getting put into soil to finish germinating looks funky, it is the one with the string on the cup. the lower leaves are starting to turn yellow slightly and curling and the stem seems lighter in color than the other one. the other stem is darker and the little leaves look natural. It seems like I am not doing enough. or maybe I am just anxious. But do I just keep waiting for them to show sex ? before doing much more. And like the Blues Bros. I will be on a mission tomorrow and I WILL FIND the FFOF or FFLW When I find it I want to go ahead and transplant make me think I am doing something ;)well here are the pics for today I hope you can see what I am talking about if you need a specific shot let me know.

They look fine to me. You just gotta burn one and let em grow, man. Patience.

Good luck on your mission. :D

Edit: Sorry can't remember, did you get a Ph meter? If so, have you checked and what is it?

Yes I do have this one CyberTech PHTester PH-107 Digital pH Meter Tester I also got the 7.0 solution to calibrate with. Until tomorrow I am using that plain bottled water so far the first one was 7.0 after bubbling for 3 hrs. and the next time I gave them a drink it was 6.9 I am also getting the Ph up/down from pet smart tomorrow while I am on mission. I did not want to use the vinegar or baking soda. I sure wish I had something to burn. The last toke was Nov.23rd Turkey day. So I hope these girls make it to maturity or I might be convicted of under age plucking :smokeit: Reading again about how Muddy says to know your girls. I kind of know what they feel like with no water (very light in these 16oz solo cups) but after my watering the last times they still feel a lil heavy should I let them dry out ? huh hmm do ya, do ya . LOL and I know they are not even a week and a half yet but the one with no string is kind of pretty huh. Thanks Squid

Yeah if they still have some good water weight to them let em roll. :D

Great news Squid I found the FFOF I don't have to tell you what all is in it, I am sure you know already. My question is do you want me to mix some of the Perlite I have in with it ? and if so what ratio ? I also have the Ph up/down so Now that can be spot on. And more questions. I want to transplant but I know It is probably to soon. Should I go ahead and put soil in final pots, mixed with perlite of you say so and then put water in until I get run off, that way I know I could have soil at good Ph before I add my lil girls ? or would that make it to moist ? I could always let it sit for a day or 2 before transplanting ? by the way they look like they sprouted some more leaves either lastnight or today. I will add some pics in just a lil bit. Damn what a relief to get the FFOF it sounds good, fish stuff, guano, oyster shell etc...
PS: does it stress them if I remove them to take pics ?

I'm in too, just got caught up :D

And I don't believe it hurts them to take them out for pictures, I've always done it and had no problems

YUK

Well here are the pics If I counted right they popped above soil 12/25/12 so today would be day 11 man they look puny to me, according to some of the porn I see on here. The one with the string looks like it should be riding the short bus to school, but the one with no strings looks OK, but they both seem a little behind to me. My wife says they need more water but like I said I think weight of cups feels like they have moist soil. Am I posting to many Pics ?

If they feel like they have some water weight left still wait a little longer, they like the soil to dry out a bit before another watering.

For pictures you can never have to many, but weekly pictures seem to be good, usually enough growth goes on in that time to show more of a difference since the last pic update

Hey man. The one with the string seems a little worse. Don't panic! If you could only see my graveyard dude! :crying: Ask anyone that's been here a while, ANY of the Mods how many plants I have killed,
I don't care. I learned a lot and now I don't kill plants. :D SO don't sweat it. PLUS, that one's not dead. We really gotta get your ph on point. Then a really light dose for some Nitrogen.

Taking pics don't hurt, just don't play hot potato with them or anything and get em on back in when you're done. Started on the 25th. So almost 2 weeks. They do seem a little behind. I think it's Ph related. Do you have a fan circulating on the inside and gently blowing the seedlings?
Sorry, I know I've been here the whole time, but I follow a lot. :D
