Yes I hear ya Squid, I am not sure about LST'ing yet. But I think I see a spot on one of the leaves in the one in the beige pot and maybe even a curl up. I will get a pic tomorrow and we can see whats up. Ma in Law will be leaving Saturday, and I can move them out of my closet and get them in the guest bedroom, so I can look at them better, also I will work on a new light set up. I have a idea to make my own. So I will just keep them going as they are until Saturday unless that is a spot. We can address that ASAP if so. Thanks for checking in on me PaPa Squid hehehehe :buds:

Yeah I don't ever LST either, I just let them grow all naturale. Then again I have never felt the need to LST a plant, but anyways...

Hmm, hopefully not a spot or leaf curl, but we will take it as it comes. Watcha thinkin' as far as new light setup? I am currently still working on my little cfl light for my indoor grow box. It's pretty small, but that's all I can have right now at our current residence. I have the vast woods that is my yard too though. I just haven't had the energy to get it done after work this week. I come home and hang with Mrs. Squid and cook most of the time and help out around the house and watch Netflix until sleep succumbs me. Then I wake up(right now) for work and get on for about 45 minutes. I have tapatalk on my phone, but I drive at work so can't really get on during the day a whole ton. Annnnnnnnnd now I am rambling...Just hit a gravity of some fire. Talk to you later dude.

Hmmmm What it is ?

Yea I am thinking about getting some 1x12 wood maybe 36 in. long/tall and drill holes maybe 10 inches apart big enough to put sockets through so I would end up with 3 sockets to put some more cfl's for side lighting. do this 2 times one for each side of tent. maybe even make one to hang from the ceiling. The soil pH is all jacked up for some reason, after I saw that spot I had to know what run off was and here is what I got if I did it correct. don't pay attention to my comments that is just me talking to myself in my personal journal LOL

1-31-13 day 37 watered with 6.5 and 6.4
beige pot - in 6.5 out 6.1 = -.4 so soil pH is 6.1 - .4 = 5.7 ? looks puny and a spot
pink pot - in 6.4 out 5.2 = -1.2 so soil pH is 5.2 - 1.2 = 4.0 wtf ? looks great
here are some pics. The pink pot plant still looks great to me but pH is way off and the beige pot pH is better but that is the one with the spot. Let me know what you think. It (beige pot) looks better tonight but still see them I will have more pics Sunday when I move tent into guest bedroom. Taking maw in law home tomorrow so I will not have anytime to nurse them. And got to get the light thing done and tent moved before SuperBowl. I am afraid I will have to spend all next week in New Orleans, so I will have to trust the Mrs to help nurse them. Now I am rambling and I ain't had no weed since freekin Turkey day back in November. These things got to work, I'm Jonesing.

Overall they look fine. That spot is pretty small and may or may not get any worse. Next time you water just up the Ph a little, they will be fine. No worries. :smokebuds:

Dam glad to hear that. Well I got ma in law home. So the tent gets moved tomorrow. I have half the light board made, will finish other half tomorrow. I will include pics of new set up. See if I can use some of what I have learnt. Make things a lil neater and moe efficient and cooler (temp wise not kewl cooler) also reading back to earlier in our post. I thought I did, I put one of the plants in before the lime, I could not remember which one but now it is obvious. The pink pot that now has the low pH soil has to be the one with no lime added. that would account for the low pH reading, but wonder why that plant looks so good. When I get it all moved tomorrow we will see. Anyway been a long day and going to be just as busy tomorrow. Night and Go Niners,

Cool cool and damn...I forgot you only limed one too. And that shit just happens sometimes from what I see and read. I have seen some wicked seedling growth when I KNEW the Ph was super low. It was a test and those passed in a new soil I am/using. I ran out of Promix but I had some Monrovia blue bag. Seems to work pretty good. Anyways...

I have actually recently been reading that sometimes or in general some how that soil runoff readings aren't necessarily to be followed to a T. Don't ask me how this works exactly, sorry. But I can see where it could be correct. Your soil takes time to stabalize it's Ph and since it's not immediate the reading you get out the other end could be skewed some. It is found to work pretty good in most cases though, hence that's why one is told to monitor it this way.

A lot of growers are getting into the soil probe tester, apparently much more accurate. Muddy uses them and that's who trained me for the most part. The Accurate 8 Wizard probe, something like that. They're around $50 and I really want one, but can't afford it right now. Not saying go get one I am sorta just rambling here. The jist of what I got was that if you have a good mix then just feed at correct Ph and let it grow, the soil will take care of the rest.

I agree Squid. I will just keep watering with correct pH and let the pink pot grow. If we need to address spots on beige pot you let me know. The spot does not look any worse and I only see the one tip that's funky. Hell I think it is starting to look a lot better than it used to, what you think ? No water since the other night when I got run off They will probably get some more tomorrow. and here is the new set up. I am going to try pushing through the filter like I saw someone else doing. It is def pulling some fresh air in the side vents now. I like it, let me know if you have any suggestions. I have three sets of sockets on the new side lights so as the girls grow I can just add more bulbs. BTW all the bulbs are 6500k now, I did pick up some 2700k so when you think I need them let me know. Do I need to go ahead and order a 2700k light for the main overhead light ? Do you think I will ever see a flower spot ? LOL anyway here are a bunch of pics. I have to figure out how to arrange pics so I can put them in order.
PS: I did spray leaves a few times maybe it just got a spot from some water left on the leaf. and the bad tips just seem to be on the one fan. hmmmm
