New Grower WileyWilly's NL Virgin grower

Well everything seems to be doing so good I hate to bring in the bad news. I am just gonna copy and paste from my personal journal
Started with 6.8 Bubbled rain water added 1 tsp of Grow Big and 1 tsp of Big Bloom it brought pH down to 5.8
5.8pH added 1 drop Ph up = 6.1 mixed well and re bubbled for about 3 minutes
6.1pH added 1 drop Ph up = 6.2 mixed well and re bubbled for about 3 minutes
6.2pH added 2 drop Ph up = 6.4 mixed well and re bubbled for about 3 minutes
6.4pH added 1 drop Ph up = 6.5 mixed well and re bubbled for about 3 minutes
6.5pH rinsed syringe in gal jug and it went to 6.6 that is what I watered with. and here is a ugly part
beige pot - in 6.6 out 6.4 = -.2 so soil pH is 6.4 - .2 = 6.2 took 52oz of water to get run off it was dry
pink pot - in 6.6 out 5.1 = -1.5 so soil pH is 5.1 - 1.5= 3.6 took 84oz of water to get run off it was dry
that Pink pot has the bigger plant I can't say better looking only because the beige pot is also doing just as good now. But that pink bucket has had a jacked up pH since the beginning. But I think we agreed to just keep a close eye on it and see what happens. :peace:

Yep. Just stay on top of it. As soon as you let her stay thirsty too long or don't monitor her Ph closely, she will begin to deteriorate. Feed with a little higher Ph to bring it up some. I'd be willing to bet you have a pretty good microorganism system in your root zone, and you're using organic nutes, so they're still able to uptake them it seems.

Next feed, let's feed again with 1/4 strength veg(maybe a tad more, and assuming there is not burning by then from this first feed). Also, add 2 tsp each of some epsom salt and molasses and Ph and that at 6.7 for the beige pot(since it isn't as low) and then add another drop or two Ph stuff and feed at 7.2 with the pink pot. Got it? Cool. Take care, my man. We're getting there, that's for sure.

If it makes you feel any better, I sorta jacked up my little test plants because I forgot to feed them so they dried out bad and Ph was whack! Also a little heat stress from new lights so they crisped up a bit, but they are small anyway and won't yield a ton. Still...just goes to show. Anyways. Peace. :D

some times its better to cut rain water with a small amount of tap as its to soft and ph swings far to much

Thanks don. Don't think he has a way to get rain water though. Yeah soft water jacks things up I have heard and seen. :D

Edit: I do see it now. Thanks don. I didn't realize he was using rain water. All good. :D

try adding 10-20% tap water to you rain water this will give it some buffer and slow/stop swing

Try to begin with try adding 0.5-1l tapwater to 4l of rainwater and watch the situation to see if it helps

Sounds like a winner. :D

you got it. I will try the tap water next watering probably Thursday. I will also add the

to be clear should I add the nutes, salt, and molasses to the mixed rain and tap water and THEN pH ? or at what stage of that concoction do I do the pH'ing
Also I checked them out when I got home a few minutes ago and man it looks like they perked right up and even grew up some. also some of those pistols look bigger and the Beige pot has them also  now you want to hear the funny part. When I got finished playing with them yesterday I took the old crunchy starting leafs and smoked the dam things :D i told you it has been since Thanksgiving. Hell I think I might have felt a small buzz for a few minutes LMAO :joint:

at the very end which what matters at the end of the day

dont over apply the epson or molasses what you said is fine but dont add any more epson after that unless you have to

Ph after all is added at the end before feeding. Yeah, I suggested a light cal/mag feeding more as a preemptive strike for that. It shouldn't hurt at all. And the little buddies can feed on the molasses too. :D

Smoking leaves?! I've probably done that...or worse. :smokebuds:

feed again ALREADY

well I can't believe it but when I looked tonight I think they are feeling a little lite already, I will probably have to water/feed them tomorrow does that seem to quick ? it was the 10th and tomorrow will be 13th hmmm maybe I put to many holes in bottom of bucket ? I will do all the ingredients and then pH. I hope you can see the pistols and there is one leaf on Pinky that has some yellow stuff. I searched hard and this is the ONLY bad spot ? hmmm. well until tomorrow :peace:
