New Grower WileyWilly's NL Virgin grower

Hey there willy. Those aren't done. I know it's killing you, but I really would wait. They'll fatten up a lot more with 2 more weeks, maybe less. Go ahead and start another one if you want. Get all your ducks in a row and think it out...don't over think it, make sure you're good to go.....and go. :D :smokebuds:

I would agree with squid. Noting to be worried about. It would be that the plant is nearing its end life and is sucking all the energy from the fan leaves to fatten those buds up!! Maybe just start to flush for 7-10 days then cut. That would be my opinion. I am no expert so someone please feel free to correct me if I am wrong!

Squid has steered you in the right direction the entire trip brother, he's not letting you down now. The only thing that makes this so painful for you is the extended vegetation period you endured. Didn't you start flowering @ Day 62? You need to recoup those lost days of flowering, so with that said - you have, believe it or not, about another 20 days to go. At least, at the very least, two weeks as Squid recommended. Start up another plant, two weeks will fly by and the plant can sit in with each of the two ladies as they continue to flower - especially since it leaves the lights on 24/0. Maybe throw it in the dark for 4 hours after you get home or so.

Indeed, my friend. Start 1-2 more and I say leave em in 24 hours. It won't hurt at all. They'll fit fine for a bit longer.

Come on bro! Hopefully you haven't chopped them. Wait till 4/20! 18 days at least! I feel your pain, I just hate to see you chop them early after all this.

What other beans do you have? Don't do those NL if you have different ones, apparently they don't Auto. Lemme know. :D

OK My BUDZ, No Sir Mr. Squid I have not chopped yet. I just figured out all I have to do is trim some of the leaves and hang upside down for 2-4 days, then I think I might try that freezer dry/cure method. So as brother WG says YOU have not steered me wrong yet, so I will just pinch some more and let her grow. But will it last that long ? wife just informed me that on Saturday watering she just used bottled water, no salt no pH check no nothing so it has had 2 salt feedings and one no salt. What about all the leaves yellowing and falling off ? and if I am calling them the right thing (the milky things (trichs) are turning amber) that affects the type of buzz doesn't it ? how long does a good flush take again 7-10 days ? maybe I can flush for 18 days or one or two more feedings ? and if you say feed what should I give them for their last supper ? OK I think that is all my fears, yellowing, falling leaves. I will check pH and feed tomorrow with whatever you suggest tonight. OH BTW I have had them on 12 on 12 off for a while now. I would have to go back and see when we changed it. Did I read correct above should they be on 24 on 0 off, maybe that is why they are taking so long ? Oh Tay I have taken enough of your valuable time. Thanks in advance though for the hand holding. :peace:

Yeah, I thought so(on the 12/12) Hmmm.I wonder if they would start re0vegging if you went to 20 on 4 off. wg?

With Organics some say no flush necessary, but I say 10 days. Plain Ph water, that's it. You're still filling out, give her another good dose of bloom regimen and espom/molasses and check your Ph. Color changing trichs is good progression. :check:

Leaves yellowing and dying is normal for the most part. Don't worry, just push on. The longer you let the trichs change the more 'couch-lock' you'll get...the earlier the more 'heady' it will be. But you aren't at the stage of even picking early yet.

If you feel that they're ready - and the trichomes really are amber.. then let it run at the very least, imo, 7 more days. The leaves just aren't yellow enough yet.. the yellowing should start at the bottom and move up gradually, yours appears to be a mix of end of flower cycle and magnesium def.

If you've pinched some of the bud and tested it, how was it? Did it treat you right or did you feel it could be stronger?

Proper drying and curing does make a stronger strain, but a quick dried test bud will give you an idea of what the future holds better than anything, amber trichomes just means they're oxidizing into a different form of cannabinoid.. so the variation of the high will shift but it'd still be relatively strong if it was ready to go. Are there absolutely 0 clear trichomes left?

What kind of magnification are you using to look under them?

The 24/0 thing was regarding because I thought you ran 1 pot for 12 hours, then moved it in the closet, then another pot for 12 hours and switch.. so I figured the light the new beans would be under would be 24 hours since you have no reason to move it!

The plant honestly may be ready, I'd be shocked, but I've seen crazier stuff.. I thought you switched around Day 64, if you switched more around Day 54, being at day 98 takes 10 days off my 'estimate'..

Do you think it would help to put them on 20/4 now, wg? Or would they re veg all weird like...

I believe with the auto gene being so funky in them (not even blooming on 18/6 and then taking awhile on 12/12) that they'd probably reveg. I've heard no good stories about Nirvana's autos really, I mean there's a few.. but they don't tend to have a stabilized auto gene. Quality of them is supposed to be top notch as far as meds go though..

Someone should at least make a hybrid of the Nirvana NL and another good actually Auto NL. :D
