New Grower Willl my seeds grow

hi everybody
i am on my first grow i germinated my seeds until about 1-2 cm of tap root was showing i then proceeded to plant them they have now been in the dirt for roughly 24 hours and haven't pushed through the soil yet i am worried i may have done something wrong my other concern is about 24 hours before i planted them i saturated my soil as i had read that on many grow guides but my soil seems very compact form the water is this right i am worried the seeds will not be able to push through the soil

i am using biobizz light mix

It usually takes two to three days to pop up on average but it could be longer depending how deep you planted the seed.It should have no problem pushing through that soil.
