Grow Room Window tint/blackout film?

anyone recommend a tint or film for windows? Need it because half privacy and half battling extra heat.
I dont know anything about tint. but im looking for the best anti heat and uv.

Local hardware stores likely have tinted films in stock. Depending on size needed, auto supply stores might have something useful.

is there a grade or thickness i need to black out most heat and uv? i could care less about seeing through cause i have curtains anyways.

Also thermal blackout curtains can help, which is what I use in my grow room and rest of the house as well.

yep i have those but at night when my tent is open i can see light streaks in between window and curtain space. im actually just considering a different room that is above crawl space. O used my caliber 4 top text daily max TEMP of each room with it on the center of ground. both rooms hard wood. the current room had max of 80. the room thats not on slab has a max temp of 76 so far and i alrdy passed the hot part of the day

Black primer paint on inside looks like tint on outside and it's easy to remove with thinner. But have a fan and window open to remove fumes

I would expect white (highly reflective) paint to stop more heat vs. windows painted/tinted black.

If a temporary fix is desired, and one likely to also be highly reflective (vs. filtering/blocking light) find some of the white spray foam, dries to powder, sprayed to decorate windows, such as during Christmas season. Or otherwise, since this is indoors, consider painting your windows with water soluble/easy to remove paint, such as sold for children to use.

ordinary dark tint on the windows and then stick something like this sheet to the film on the inside so you can always remove it later .. perfect heat shield.

My grow room windows have levelors, which are closed most of the time and I have thermal blackout curtains in front of them. It's difficult to completely block all light at night, but the last curtains I bought have worked well. For heat as well as blocking light. Not all blackout curtains are equal. So many are sold as blackout, but a decent amount of light can still bleed through.
