Why is the time when traffic is the slowest called rush hour? If things can have pro's and con's, why do we have a "con"gress? Why go to school, graduate, and not have a job to pay for it but went to school so you get paid? Why is Monday so far from Friday, but Friday is so close to Monday? Just a few random things I was thinking about. Feel free to share anything you can think of

It is impossible to get from A to B..... First you have to travel half the distance, then half the remaining distance, then half of that..... You are getting closer, but you will never actually get to B....... And yet people are being killed by bullets that travel from A to B........ How is that possible?

That's easy - what happens is at the last possible moment the poor bugger being shot happens to move toward the bullet thus negating the infinitesimal small distance at the point the bullet hasn't hit you. Simple but sad... now if you stepped away increasing the distance it would be a different theoretical question :D

As for the other questions can I have what he's smoking please.

Why do the wealthy get low interest rates (they don't need to borrow to begin with). And the middle class get higher interest rates that they cannot afford?

I know the laws have been changed and now everyone is required to have health insurance. (In the U.S.A.)
But here's what was/is backwards.
Was in the University of Tennessee Hospital for a week via emergency room. I had insurance through my job. The bill came stating "this is not a bill". My insurance paid it. The total was a little over $12,000 (13 years ago can't remember exact amount)Insurance company paid $8400 and the debt was cleared. If I didn't have insurance I would have had to pay the full amount myself.
Why do the multi-billion $$ insurance companies get a discount and those who can't afford the expensive insurance pay full price????

The health care system kills people. The education system dumbs them down. The tax system would rather employ hundreds of thousands to shake money from poor pockets than level the playing field by applying the tax rates fairly. New legislation named for protecting our freedoms strip us of them. We give corporations billion-dollar bailouts, so they take their jobs overseas. Handy gadgets we love are also tracking tools, providing info to be used against us and blasting us with microwaves. We're happy to be "liked" on social media, but can't get off the FB, Twitter, whatever long enough to realize we no longer have human contacts, nor do we actually know any of the people with whom we spend time communicating.
