happy as, just trying a few things out, be a bit of beginners luck i reckon. Just looped a few adjustable ties together and put one end thru a hole drilled in the pot lip and the other around the head. Pull it down as far as you dare. I have already had to re train the tip today because it was already straight up again. Ties that can be undone as well come in handy when moving the loop around the plant. lol advice from a novice
It is good advice for other newer people looking at getting into LST my friend, with those small tips can make things much easier rather than a nightmare!
I picked up some Zip Ties today for my ducting to fan joint. But also saw a stretchy adjustable size cord with lock and release style and could see they would be very handy for such a purpose. Like a Belt made for fat people haha I can laugh as I am a little round in the Mid Section:hug:
My plants always seem too tightly node spaced and hard to bend. I think you might just be made for it kyliekay! Keep the Green coming..
Hard to bend is from waiting too long. The tip can almost always be bent over at least 90 degrees. You don't have to bend the entire stem if your nodes are very tightly spaced.
Also, if you have the lights very close during the seedling stage / are using very high powered lights, the hypocotyl (the little stem that unfolds with the cotyledons.. often purpleish) will be very short and since that is a thin and easily bendable part of the stem, you miss out on that opportunity.
