Indoor World of Seeds Northern Lights x Big Bud grow

And I thought straight after looked nice.. A day later has responded very well! I really need to work on my LST skills and get me some of these Multiple Colas  Well done and :slap: Well earned!

Cheers vaped  happy as, just trying a few things out, be a bit of beginners luck i reckon. Just looped a few adjustable ties together and put one end thru a hole drilled in the pot lip and the other around the head. Pull it down as far as you dare. I have already had to re train the tip today because it was already straight up again. Ties that can be undone as well come in handy when moving the loop around the plant. lol advice from a novice :peace:

It is good advice for other newer people looking at getting into LST my friend, with those small tips can make things much easier rather than a nightmare!
I picked up some Zip Ties today for my ducting to fan joint. But also saw a stretchy adjustable size cord with lock and release style and could see they would be very handy for such a purpose. Like a Belt made for fat people haha I can laugh as I am a little round in the Mid Section:hug:

My plants always seem too tightly node spaced and hard to bend. I think you might just be made for it kyliekay! Keep the Green coming..

Thanks vaped, hope it helps someone else. The ties i used are available from nurseries and are like a zip tie ( same plastic) but can be undone and done up as many times as u like. They are made for staking plants, then when they grow so u can take them off or loosen them

Hard to bend is from waiting too long. The tip can almost always be bent over at least 90 degrees. You don't have to bend the entire stem if your nodes are very tightly spaced.

Also, if you have the lights very close during the seedling stage / are using very high powered lights, the hypocotyl (the little stem that unfolds with the cotyledons.. often purpleish) will be very short and since that is a thin and easily bendable part of the stem, you miss out on that opportunity.

Yeah thats what i have found, need to get to them early. Autos harden up very quickly so getting to them before that is important, even if you only bend the last couple of nodes

Yea, I am often leaving it too late as I debate and procrastinate till they are too stiff. Also I need my nodes tight using the lights for the space I am in.
Often lean over the top in later stage to mature the buds lower down. You should see one of my Stones.. the entire thing was leaned over haha tied back to keep it standing, talk about Top Heavy!

I accept your concept, just need more practise. Each to their own:tiphat:. Cheers for the added info.

Time to stop stealing kyliekays thread and let the grow BOOM!:gthumb:

Hey, whats up. Grow is looking beautiful. I have a question. Is the smell much more noticeable then a NL auto?

Alright here we are again and NL X BB is now 22 days old and the branches that were uncovered a couple of days ago have hardened up and are aiming for the light
