New Grower Would you start to flush yet?

As per title, this is a seedsman great White auto @ day 58 from seed, the fan leaves are starting to turn yellow along the edges, should I start flushing from now? I fed it today I'm just wondering if I should make that it's last feed. next water will be three or four days.

The little black bits you see is soil, I dropped it and soil from the pot ended up all over it, plant is fine though.:no: should I try to wash the soil off now?

I have checked muddy's thread on harvesting, just not sure when to start the flush. I don't want to get this wrong.

Would you feed again or start to flush? thank's in advance. forgot to say trichs are mostly clear, some cloudy with few at the very top with an amber tinge, my scope is crap though.

what is it you are feeding it, and what lighting do you have? Are the pistils on top white or have they turned? If you are using orgainics, flush isn't really needed unless you think it will help you. Need ten days usually to flush:

flush/off day/off day/ Flush/off day/off day/flush/off day/off day /flush then a day or two to chop.

Hi thanks for the reply yes I am using organic feed [plant magic] Pistols have started to change colour on top, but only just more like an off white compared with a few days ago.

and im under 440w hps

so as it's organic feed I can continue to feed up till a few days before chopping? maybe just flush last two waterings.

Yes actuallly, I do it just to make myself feel better, if it gives it a "cleaner" flavor then why not, even though it is not dangerous to feed late. Two flushes would be fine. Your light is good enough that if you have a 70 day strain, if you are still on schedule, then you should be able to harvest then. I got about three weeks of fade on the leaves last go round. So it seems you are on a similar schedule.

What you want to see in these last weeks is the swelling of calyx's and receding hairs as the swell over comes the hairs, sorta enveloping them, so to speak. Get what I mean?

thanks man, that's really helpful, this one flowered very early compared to my other one which is much bigger but only started to flower... Both the same strain, though you would never guess it, cheers mate I appreciate the help. I get what you mean. p.s would you wash the soil off the plant now? or wait till it's finished?

Can you use a vacuum cleaner or an air brush to get it off? ya don't want the buds to get wet this close, but if you can be careful it can be done now.

Can't tell from that picture. Always best to post a pic of the whole plant so we can see all the leaves. If they are just starting to yellow on the edges you probably have about 3 weeks till they will be ready. If that's the case, I would give them one more feeding before starting to cleanse them.

Great. Yes, they are just starting to turn, so about 3 more weeks. I would give them another feed and see how they look, then make the decision on whether to start cleansing. Your buds will continue to fatten up as the plant feeds off the stored energy in those fan leaves.
