Marimar, that setup work for you great! I am amazed and really impressed of your grow. I am pretty new on using LST methods and just experimenting on bending my plants on a net in attempt to limit the vertical grow best I can. Your growroom really depends on limiting the vertical grow! How do you manage that? I bet one factor is that insane EC. Just extreme LST work? I manage to just snap my branches if I try to bend them too much and I've become quite scared of doing that..

Bro, it's mainly LST and defoliation, these methods give me good results. LST is #1 in our thing, do not be afraid to use it, simply be careful not to hurt your auto, it is more fragile, tan photos. Simply try to give all new nodes plenty of light, bend them as you wish. If some brach won't bend at once - bend it a bit, leave it to adapt in that position for some time and then bend it more, this way you will never break or stress your plant. Defoliation, although, should be done with great care and you may do it only when you know what you are doing and if your plant is perfectly healthy, especially if it's auto, so first you must do a serious research, and only after that you should do it to your plant, Not because it's risky ir bad, but because it must be done with knowledge and care, this shit is really serious and could easily stunt your babies. SO, my advice - try LST and watch how new nodes become fully developed colas with buds
Oh, about vertical grow limiting: this is due to defoliation technique (it slows growing for sure) and light intensivity. Too much light can stunt your plant easily (there are many examples, mainly with LED), and HS1 is quite capable of that, you can see in my photos central cola's bud is burned out typically by too much light. By the way, distance ftom that bud tip and HS1 was ~15cm.

Man, if plants are stretching too much - there is ALWAYS one problem - U NEED MOAR LIGHTS Tha'ts it
I now did put another 77W with lumileds to HS1, i wish you to see how plant is reacting to it It's like a freaking HPS400 in that box right now Pitty it's not autos, i will not post these photos here, do not want to break any rules
Just this simple - light is plant's food, not nutes. Grower MUST remeber this always.

Dont tell anyone but.... my growdiary is of photoperiod Mazar... sshhh....

No really, section 8 has photosensitive grows here too and way I see it, this section is for grows done with GN lights so anything under here should be ok, given you use GN lights. Correct me if I am wrong and I start a new diary when I can grow autos again.

As an ideal I totally resonate with you on that we should try to keep everything just about automatics. I too sure respect this amazing super friendly and helpfull community!

So, here is ongoing cycle with photo fem, few moments till today.
This is when i topped her and what happened next, this is how this plant wants to live Just look in to these new nodes from cutted central cola

After that there was a small accident with my dog and 2 of 6 branches were lost, but i started to form a bush

This is a bush that i worked for, went in flowering

First defol in flower, just to fit plant to the box

After 3 days, it's today

This is it
Im testing vitamin B complex (pharmaceutical) in this grow - man, plant is nuts of that stuff, just look at it's growth speed and those monster roots

Can't wait to see this monster in flowering

Photoperiods are more than welcome here on AFN guys, so much so a monthly BOM comp has just been started for photos, we have a photos section somewhere too lol please feel free do document ANY plants you grow under GN lights in this section....the more the merrier.
