Now that is awesome LST stuff right there! So you first let it grow for a while, then topped it and then started LST? Do you continue to bend while it is in flowering for first couple of weeks? I think I will set my net little lower and try out some kinky bondage early on after I first install the Orca grow panels.

I did not found any method of LST more comfortable than primitive tank lid, hooks and some pipe - cleaners And it looks clean too

Maybe i could start new topic somewhere in this forum? Thing is, it's full story, and it's HS1 + DIY, it is not clean GN now. SO i do not know if i can post it in GN section..

TaNg, HS1 is still my base light, it is just pefect for that Simply i have a passion for things like DIY and decided to dissasemble HS1, put it's LED matrix on huge radiator for much better cooling and add some other Lumileds. This is what my light setup looks now and omg do my plant likes these Lumileds
I understand. that GN warranty is far gone, but this is not important, their great product together with my DIY addon will surey give me lots of nice plants And i am such a man, which can't use stardand things, i must make these better, or break it totaly

Takes some guts and confidence to dissamble 500e device just like that! But that is so typical for true techies. They always rip everything to pieces just to figure out how things work and how to improve for your personal situation. I can respect that!

Bro, i'm playing with electrical equipment for more than 25 years already, this is nothing, just some pieces of metal and components which i did not manufactured myself anyway What about GN HS1 components - it's casing simply did not fit in my box with my addon, but it's components are top quality and this is why it is pricey. Superb quality driver, copper base LED matrix with carbon plated cooling, quality assembly and total unique optics - GN did great work with introducing of their diffusers - it alone is worth a big part of unit's price. Not regreting of buying at all and it alone is capable to give enough light to one plant and i was using it alone till plant grew a bit, to not scare a plant I did not copied HS1, bought completely different spectrums, just to have very wide range, even skyblue and orange LEDs are there. I believe in theory that it's quantity and richness, not few wavelengts. That is why HPS still rules in big grows
Ever thought about regulating plant height by adding too much light? Well. this is the case I'm testing this theory right now, but results will be clear minimum in 10 days.
