Hey folks,

IMAG0345.jpgIMAG0344.jpgIMAG0343.jpg

Had a few problems with this plant before, but it was looking like it was back on track, so I moved it a bit closer to the LED, (still a few inches shy of the recommended 1 foot for flower), the buds seem happy(ish) but the bigger shade leaves are getting increasingly yellower - could this be a reaction to the closer light? or maybe because I have it on a 24hour cycle, or is it likely to be some sort of deficiency (PH is a lil high right?)?

shit just realised the meters not set to PH in that photo (Blushy face!) its actually much closer to 7

PH should be around 6.5. They also look a little dry so make sur your watering until you get runoff from botom of pot. They also look a little light green that means low nitrogen.

Looks a bit like a cal/mag issue to me maybe. The more light you give it, including distance and schedule, the more your plant will eat and use energy so you gotta keep up with it so to speak. What kind of LED?
And I recommend putting it at least on 20/4, plants need a break especially during flowering.
Also need to get that Ph lowered. What soil are you in?
These are all the questions you'll be asked when you ask about issues. I'll have to go to work soon and won't see this until later, but hopefully someone else will. Take care, bro. :D :smokebuds:

cheers for the speedy response peeps. ok its a 180w grow northern modular series, its in a garden centre peat free compost, mixed with (maybe a lil too much) perlite.
I was gonna leave feeding it again until the soil dries out, but maybe this needs to be addressed already.
Its in week 7 of the grow, but got pretty badly stunted at first, having done a bit more reading up, Im thinking maybes it should be left at veg height for another weeks or so + give it another feed with the grow solution, (was planning to start giving it flowering feed, not sure if thats a bit premature now, specially as its low on nitrogen).
Is the PH really that much out of wack? I thought 6.5 to 7 was optimal? can someone explain to a newbie like myself how one would rebalance the levels/deficiancies, without adding toxic shit to the soil.
peace D

Ps pretty sure theyre well watered, stuck the meter in on the moisture setting and it ranged from moist (2inchs down) to wet (deeper down)

bump bump what do u reackon peeps - start flowering feed or realigh hieght and stick with another week of veg?

Hey synaps, that's the same ph meter I had problems with - they have a habit of not working after the first time or two apparently. I ditched mine and now test water (including nutes if feeding too) before watering and the runoff. She'll still need veg nutes at this stage, from what I've been told, what nutes are you using/going to use?

cheers fellers,

those links u showed do look much better, but at the mo I think mine is working Ok, I tested it on a bunch of houseplants, and it gave different readings each time.

Im using plant magic organic feed at the mo - apparently its pretty easy to use .. .

do you think its a good idea to lower the plant if its still in veg out mode?

Also what would be the best way to lower the soils PH? I read something about vinegar, I only have balsamic in the house, would that work?!

peace x
