New Grower yellow leaves - is it light stress?

Cheers deuce, was only kidding bout the balsamic! Would Epsom salts be the best thing to do to get it down?
:lol:you got me there bro:lol::clap: epsom salts is normaly used for mg supplement, not sure how it would affect your ph. i use vinegar but i guess "ph down" would be your best solution if its available in your area:smokebuds:

Dont wanna spend looooads of money if I can avoid it, looking for a simple common or garden fix (I heard vinegar and lemon only drops the ph for a limited period).......

Ha randomly just caught a flat tire, the 2nd hand tyre centre happened to be next door to a growshop, so I figured fate was telling me to cop the PH down!
Will report back after treating later on today, anyone got an tips for using this product?

I use ph down in my water. It says 1 cap will lower 1 gal 4.0 ph. It seems like I use a 1/4 cap and it drops it like 2.0. Best bet is to use a syringe. I put my water at 6.5 but my soil ph is still kinda high like yours. Hopefully someone experienced can pop in and help up both out. Lol

Probably 3-4 drops but I've only used ph up. Scary adding up or down using that probe I had 2. They changed from plant to plant but didn't match each other and certainly didn't work in water for me anyways. Caused me a lot of trouble. If the meter is wrong your dumping gasoline on a fire.

I havnt got any kind of measuring device so I kind of had to eyeball it - Im guessing maybe 5 drops, fed about 5 hours ago, but I measured the ph just now and its the same, maybe even slightly higher?!?! Wierdly though the plant does seem a lot healthier so it might just be the shitty ph probe!
Thanks for all the help guys D

Hey man, a ph measuring device is really what you need, depending on how much water your mixing up 5 drops could be way to much.
Im using essentials ph down and into 2 liters of water it only takes about 2-4 drops to bring the ph down from 7.9 to 6.5.
Also make sure your water has been left out with the lid off for a couple of hours and is at room temp, Then once you have added the ph buffer dont leave it to long before you water.
I've found the ph buffer will start to wear off after a while

Well Im waiting for some PH strips, but thought Id post a couple pics as she's looking a lil peaky again.

Can anyone tell me if this is deffo a PH issue? the meter seems to be creeping back up again and the leaves are loosing the green they'd regained.

Ive started on the flowering feed, could this also be a reason for the lose of colour?

Yes, I would still think Ph issues. I wouldn't trust those type of meters at all man. They're known to be crap, you get what you pay for Ph meters. Sadly, and some will say different, but you need at least 50 bucks IMO for a decent, reliable meter. :D

so is the solution to add a lil more PH down or does it need other additives (until I get my ph strips)
