Hi folks, just a quick update and a wee question at the end....it's day 4 and our seedlings are kinda doing ok....the leaves have a yellow tinge and at first I thought it was just new growth but now Im thinking overwatering.....and its only day 4....would I be right....

hey Seanybo1969!

it very well could be over watering. but if you could upload a picture so we can have a look. it would be a lot easier to diagnose the issue.

may the bud be with you

I would bet on overwatering. Unless you fried them with nutrients, they should have enough energy from their cotyledon s for a full week, atleast. Without pics.though, were just pissing in the wind.

pics

Hey hope these pics help

out from those pics i cant see anything wrong. but be careful with the overwatering.. she needs some space to stretch her roots out :smokebuds:

For 4 days they look good to me. I've only grown a couple times. I'm far from knowledgeable. But, my new growth tended to be yellow'ish compared to the darker/deeper green of mature growth.

When you say a "tinge" of yellow, where do you see it? Overall color of new growth, or the edges/tips of existing and new growth?

What soil are you using? It looks like potting mixes which might have nutrients included. Many people report that potting mixes can be too hot for seedlings. Also, it looks a bit shy on perlite. If it doesn't drain well it could look like overwatering.

looking good man! i don't think there is to much to worry about at the moment. im not going to repeat what people have already said. since i would just be agreeing with them.

But what i would say is get a journal going with all the info i.e soil, light, set up ect.... so that people on hear can help you out, give you advice and answer specific questions you may have.

keep up the good work! hope it all works out for you!

peace,

Are you PHing your water? To what level? To me it looks like nutrient deficiency, except it also appears on new growth. Which might mean lockout due to ph? Or, magnesium deficiency which could be locked out due to ph? (Disclaimer: I have almost no experience. I'm going off pictures.).

Strange how WW is ok but candy kush has this problem. Maybe one is more sensitive to ph or magnesium? The leaves look indica, and I know WW is more sativa. Could it be temperature related? (Indica supposedly prefers cooler temps).
