i think what Red meant by self calibrating is where you press a button once the meter is in the calibration fluid. Manual would be the type of meter that you have to turn a calibration screw to set it.

Thanks pher2 wasn't quite sure about that but it's a self calibrating one. It's a milwakuee ph-55 I believe

Finally got my meter calibrated and tested my run off. The ph going in was 6.5 and coming out was 6.7. I watered in about 2 gallons of water to lower the ph to 6.5. Is there anything else I can do now to help her get back on track?

Next time you water you might want to give he some cal-mag and some nutes at a low dose.:smokebuds:
