I'm not feeling real good about this, but what can I do at this stage?

Started the cleanse on 11/14 (day 61 of grow). Had been worried about nute burn, so decided to wrap things up (please see my other thread in this forum "Browning Leaf Tips"). BTW-how do I add a link from this thread to that one?

Anyway, on 11/17, I noticed one leaf on one plant had the weird yellowing pictured above. It also had a purpling stem. Today, I've got this. :wtf:

I've had yellowing, dying fans at the bottom of the plant, but this is obviously different. Is it normal? Bottom line, what should/can I do? My babies aren't in danger, are they? We're so close.

Please holler back at me asap. I'm freaking out:help:

Thanks guys!

Your pal,
Jenny

Jenny, it's okay....you are at DEFCON 5 - nothing at all to worry about.

You are now running out the clock...just think of it (the plant) as entering it's golden years. :)
It's headed to Florida to play golf and go to dinner at Golden Corral at 4 in the afternoon.
The hair is gray (orange), the skin is wrinkled...crows feet. Getting around with the assistance of a
walker with little tennis balls on the feet...the "Winter" of it's time on earth.

It is feeding on the nutrients stored in the fan leaves as it comes to the end of it's life.
It has signed the DNR.

You are on final approach, you're just looking at the trichs to see if they are ambering up
and looking at the hairs turning orange.

It's not going to be a model of visual appeal all the way to the end. It's going to "mature" :)

You're G-T-G (Good to Go)

Wow! Death is not a pretty thing, is it? I was expecting the lower leaves to gradually turn golden and fall off. This seems so ugly and almost violent. Too bad there's no such thing as assisted suicide/euthanasia for my girls.

I guess there's no rushing nature, though. I tried that by drying a popcorn bud and vaping it. OMG it was disgusting!!! I will never, ever do that again! Ever!!! On a good note, the Silver Surfer is the sheeeeet. I love it!

Thanks for holding my hand through this adventure, y'all. And yes, I still "heart" you!

Oh, my Trapper…. :roflcry:

I work in the veterinary profession, and we encounter the "How will I know when it's time?" question regarding euthanasia all too frequently. My standard response is it's better a day too early than a day too late. It's what I've gone by with all my own fur babies. Guess I'm going to have to alter my thinking a bit.

Just hoping that good things come to those who wait :stylez rasta smoke: :peace:

They do look ugly durring cleanse, but if you trim all that off, with the plant still potted, they make for a great photo op and you get to see how dense things really are. I rarely get to do that because I grow in 5 gallon containers and big plants are a PIA to trim that way. But I have some small 1 gallon ladies that will be trimmed up on the hoof, that will look super. Nothing to worry about, Trapper has you all lined out!

Yup...very contrasting in that regard as in this scenario you are seeking, to an extent, to prolong the inevitable. :)

No kidney failure issues with cannabis.
