Weekly update, moved the two ladies yesterday under a new hortilux 1,000w super HPS. They seem to be LOVING IT!

Looking forward to some very tasty treats for 2014! Will be a great way to start off a new year with a jar full of HighRise!

Well it's been quite a while since I've come here. I was so upset about having to cull my beautiful ghazediesel that I gave them a rest. I'm back and really missing some HR smoke so I thought to myself autos like to have a long tap root. So as a little experiment I took a 6" piece of PVC and put about an 1.5" in the soil and the rest is sticking out. My thought is if you plant the seed in the pipe it will give it that much extra room to grow downwards. I will be running a ghazedisel in the pipe and another one along side it in just a 1gal airpot (same as other but without the pipe). Ghazedisel popped her head today! I'm going to soak another one tonight as I have her pot allready to go for her.

Genius Brother, i will be watching this that would be perfect with my PW pots that have the cone upward inside that would give my tap root more space before it started to curve arond the the cone! Wow im excited for you now
*quick question so when you water do you just pour it just thru the PVC,or both inside and out?

@ids I watered the PVC pipe in and around it... I think a bigger diameter pipe would've been better.., was hard to water.....
@lynnboy any plant should be able to go straight from seed right to 12/12. Size and yield will be affected... As far as I know no one has run a mob this early at 12/12... This is more of an experiment to see if it's viable and worth to do a mob from 12/12... If I can still pull a ounce or two from her at 12/12 IMHO at $45 at pack it's a no brainier if your running photos already.... Plus I will be able to experience MoB in a few short months. :dance:

Well the two ghazediesels got the chop today! The one with the pvc pipe got about 63grams wet and the one without faired better at 85grams…. Such a great strain to grow! So fun to watch how quick they go!

Looks like another success man, great work. you should invest in an auto trimmer, seems you have something coming down often. Looks like a killer smoke as well!

Lol I've looked into the auto trimmers and I just can't bring myself to out my hard work through some bud ruiner.... Nothing better than a pair of friske trimmers to do the job... Yea it seems like i always have something coming down as I plant a new plant at least one every week or two to keep it perpetual... But still to this day seems like I'm cutting things close....
Thanks for the lovin Mclovin... Can not stress enough whom hasn't grown a HighRise auto get on it ASAP! Some of the dankest smoke period, auto or photo.
