Young leaves beginning to seperate?

I've never seem any genetic mutation that looked like that. I'm still thinking it's an insect. Anything flying around the grow area? You may want to pick up some Neem oil and treat them as a preventative. Not hard or expensive and if it is an insect, that should take care of them. Big box stores or local nurseries should carry it.

Muddy, I will go buy some neem oil today just to have on hand. I have seen it at Lowes. I really didn't want to put anything on them that I don't absolutely need but I will keep it handy. For the moment it is only affecting a couple of leaves, if it begins to spread I will definitely e prepared.

Thanks again to everyone for the responses. I am still learning, but this is the best place to learn hands down!

Always a good idea to keep some on hand. That way if something does pop up, you're prepared and can hit it quickly.

Dude, I was wondering if the sweating may have been causing that. You may have hit the nail on the head. My tent is packed right now and they have been sweating a pretty good bit. I rearranged my AC duct last night to try and get more air blowing across the tops in order to reduce it some. I put my hygrometer in there yesterday and notice it was up close to 60 so I started trying to rearrange things trying to fix that before they start blooming, I wasn't worried much about it up until the bloom cycle.

Is there anything you do to help them with sweating? I didn't have this problem with my last grow but I only had two plants and there was plenty of airflow in between them. Now I have 6 in a 4x4 area. I put an extra fan in last night, I may go buy another couple today on the way home from work.

Thanks man.

Having an air conditioner helps the humidity some, I havent put mine in yet, trying to hold off as late as possible to cut down on the electric. The plants will sweat though and more so if they are jammed. Only thing to do is try to give them more space and if you cant be obsessive like me and rearrange leaves all day long when you find a sweaty spot. Im scared of powedery mildew if I let them sweat on top of eachother all day. As for the neem, make sure you cut it with a wetting agent if you're buying straight up neem oil. It won't absorb into your plants as well without it. Azomite is a great neem oil product that is already mixed for you. Just dilute with water and spray (when lights are off)

Thanks spelsylver, I actually have an AC feeding the tent but the damn thing has been on heat the last month because it is too cold outside. Go effing figure, May in the deep South and I am running the heater? Oh well, hopefully in the next week I will switch it over to AC and be rid of that problem. My humidity levels are pretty high at the moment also, staying high 50's. Hopefully the AC will solve some of that problem as well.

I did take them out tonight to feed and there were no signs of it spreading and since I rearranged the ductwork to the top of the tent I haven't noticed any more weeping on the leaves. I did have it blowing in on the bottom trying to keep the roots warm. Learn something new every day on AFN.

Thanks again for everyone's fast response. Looks like it was just case of me overreacting.
