Sweet Seeds Yozhik grows Crystal Candy Auto & Blow Mind Auto

Def mold free... what are you doing to try to prevent it ? I run multiple 6 inch fans at different angles through the canopy amd turn my plants daily.

I've only had it once - in my last grow - but caught it REALLY early.
Checked it daily, but my spidey senses were tingling, 'cos the buds were so damn hard, there was just no way air circulation was going to penetrate deep enough where the 'sweating' was happening.

Humidity was down in the 30's and low 40's, temps were never below 25, had a kick ass extractor fan on full, plus a veritable hurricane from various oscillating fans ... According to the rule book, mold should never have existed in those conditions, but air circulation just couldn't get in to the stems, where it was needed.

It's just one of those things that happens, when the buds are big and dense and hard - the way we all want them to be.
Sometimes the best you can hope for is to catch it right at the beginning and minimise the losses and eliminate the risk of spreading.

DAY 7:

The substitute Blow Mind Auto and additional Crystal Candy Auto were placed into their seedling pots, and positioned under the CFL this morning.
Very healthy looking tap roots emerged from the paper towel process; markedly improved from Germination Round 1, so I am quietly optimistic.
Will be nice to be back up to the intended numbers again. It was looking a little empty.

I even dusted off the BlueLabs pH meter today.
New batteries.
Calibrated with Buffer 7 and Buffer 4 solutions.
Babies were given a drink of tap water pH'd to 6.1, with a sprinkling of Excelerator goodness, and the tiniest splash of Grotek Vitamax Pro - just, because I could.

I'll now leave them alone for a few more days and see how they like that slight adjustment.
Should be at least 3 days before I have to throw more water at them.

Anyway - enough of the blah blah - here's what most come to the journals to see ... The seedling selfies.
1 x Blow Mind Auto, and 3 x Crystal Candy Auto

DAY 8

TENT.JPG

Both of the substitutes have appeared on the pitch, and now ready for some serious game time.
The Crystal Candy Auto and the Blow Mind Auto seeds have germinated, and broken through to the light.
Only took 24 hours.
Impressed.

I feel compelled to wax lyrical about the Crystal Candy Auto seeds, and seedlings.
STRONG genetics.
Easy to germinate.
ALL of them showed up, above ground, within 24 hours.
Seedlings look strong and promising.
It's only about 1 week, but I'm liking them already.
And the colour is the lovely bright green, like, green green.
Like plants should be.

So, here are the pics.

2 x Blow Mind Auto, followed by 4 x Crystal Candy Auto
