This is the next installment of my perpetual journey. I wanted to try out topping and since this strain has always been healthy and responsive to training I decided to try probably could have stood to investigate more journals here to have better idea but I like to do things and learn that way. Like I don't want problems but I appreciate them in a strange way when they happen as I get to learn how to straighten it out and recognize the issues earlier and adjust. I guess I look at it like a fighter training for bad positions, you don't wanna be stuck there but it might happen and knowing how to deal with it is much better then not knowing how when you find yourself there or headed that way. This one was named Fitzella again going off the walker them and the band Fitz and the Tantrums did the song the walker I believe. Come along for the journey if you'd like and comment if you feel so inclined.

Week 1
Another week 1 another start of another journey and another seemingly strange name. I also tried very very very lightly soaking the medium with kickstart at like 5 percent of what you give a seedling. I would consider doing this in the future again as it might be OK just don't think it goes this time with the lack of quality water I stayed with. I've said it before what happened I just keep saying it so someone else avoids the mistakes. I have an r o water system in my house so I thought I could switch from the bottled water I was using with no issues and didn't monitor ec and ppm. Well it wasn't working and the water here is awful. Anyways that's no excuse its on me to monitor that better here's some pics from week one of Fitzellas life.
Week 2
Second week of life any doing its thing. Gotta say though I do like the Mars lights I use they produce less heat then other lights I have used and the size of the tsl 2000 fixture is great if I come into money I would definitely consider grabbing more Mars products but maybe sp line next as I have heard only good things about them. Here's some photos. Slight taco leaf but I think it's a strain related thing no negative effect that I can tell though.
Week 3
Third week of life for this girl. I believe this is when I topped it. I'll have to look at the pictures closer but that's what I remember off the top of my head anyway. Took the topping well and kept on doing its thing. Lockout hasn't shown itself just yet but I'll have some effects of it shortly if not in this week. Dealt with it and diagnosed it with help from other people's infirmary posts and checking the in and out ec and ppm. Anyways here's more pictures I'll be more detailed with feed schedule and all that once everything is up to date and I'm closing in on that now once I am doing things right I plan to maybe tag some people to come along for the ride and coach me towards excellence and away from mediocrity. Pics below looks like I topped at day 14.

Week 4 (some lockout issues rear their ugly head)
Water quality hasn't been dealt with quite yet at this point this is just before but when I do correct it some the extra watering had her droopy for a day or two but she is more or less happy again in real time. The plant took the topping well and wet crazy I just been pulling it out with staples since I topped it. Pictures of the weeks growth below.
Week 5 (January 18th to 24th 2021)
Well as Bruce Buffer says as part of his preflight work "We are Live" Lockout partially avoided plant drooping but coming back after heavy watering all and all for the first time topping went OK went so good I wanted to try again now that I had recognized the water issue actually decided before that I was going to do it again on a different strain because I like to experiment and learn. Pics from first couple days of the week.
