Early poppers, we had a mango sunrise and spotless mind, from night owl seeds, break soil on february 3rd.
These 2 plants are in 3.9gal autopots with coco loco.
we are using megacrop for the base nutes and recharge and Epsom as add ons.
these plants are very tall, lanky, and have been trained a bit.
they started out under the 65w cobs and are now under a 240w qb.
the idea in general for lights will be sprouts/veg gets under the autocobs and the flowering finishing plants under the qb.
Edit- week 6 in the tent, night owl sisters on right side

Introduction
Strain- Night Owl Seeds Spotless Mind, and Mango Sunrise
Medium/container- w/ coco loco
Feed routine- megacrop for base nutes, Epsom and recharge as add ons
Grow space- 4x4x6
Lights- starting under 65w cob, finishing under 240w qb
Day 1- February 3, 2021
The primary focus of this entry will be Spotless Mind as I have her in a friendly growoff over in discord.
Don’t fret tho, there will be some updates for Mango Sunrise as well. She is the tallest plant I’ve ever grown. Just towers over everything else in the tent.
Special notes- both plants have been trained, a mixture of low and high stress training.
Mango Sunrise was topped and heavily lollipopped while Spotless Mind got a big bend and a couple of tie-downs.

Week 1
Not a lot to report.
Both plants are in good health, and they have received a shot of recharge.
one other thing to note, I started them about 34” under the cobs and I’m sure that played into the gangliness that ensues.

Week 2
Another week in the books and both plants are doing well.
Maintaining a decent color and growth rate so far.
Both plants received another recharge feed this week to go along with a small watering or two.

Week 3
This week is where things begin to get crazy.
Both plants are still doing well, in fact they seem to be thriving.
They have received their first shot of megacrop. We started low, 3g per gallon. Throughout the grow I will go from 3-5g of megacrop per gallon depending on how the plants are looking.
once weekly they will both also receive a shot of recharge and a shot of Epsom salt.
I decided to give Spotless Mind the big bend.
I will top plants, and in fact at some point I will top Mango Sunrise as you will see, but I very much prefer the big bend and tie down approach to training.
I had no idea how Spotless was going to react.

Week 4
So Spotless Mind has survived the big bend and it’s already started paying off. There is some nice side branching and she is getting wide.
I briefly touched with the idea of maintaining a nice flat canopy but mostly Spotless fights me and I let her do what she wants.
I will occasionally gently nudge her in a direction I want but she’s really the boss.
Mango Sunrise is just doing her thing this whole time in the background but what I did not realize is that Mango was about to explode vertically.
She will show up more in pics in future updates, but for now let’s check out Spotless Mind thru week 4.

Week 5
Both plants are still kicking.
Colors good, structure and shape are good, if a bit twisted.
Feed is the same routine and everything is going smooth.
Spotless did a weird thing, and I’m not sure I can describe it very well but I’ll try.
She was the one who got the big bend, so her main stem was pulled off to one side pretty sharply and then secured to the edge of the autopot.
In the stretch phase, she managed to pull that tie down off and her main stem folded back almost 180 degrees in the opposite direction. This takes place over a couple of days and it surprised the heck outta me.
I know the main stem will pull against tie downs and even supercropped branches will try to reach back up towards the lights but I hadn’t seen a main fold back like this.
I actually ended up wrapping some garden ties around the main and a lower branch to hold things steady for a bit.
might be hard to see but I’ve got a couple pics of it to share.
so nothing earth shattering but something I hadn’t seen and it’s setting the stage for an interesting plant.
Spotless is wide with lots of branches and nodes to work with. My kinda plant.
Mango Sunrise getting big, lanky.

Week 6
This will be the last of the “catch up” pages as we will be caught up to the grow in real time.
When we left off, Spotless was getting her freak on and Mango was getting big.
well, this week was more of the same with the addition of some sexy preflower action.
Mango is a bit farther ahead in development but both plants have shown sex and are starting to build budlets.
I topped Mango between weeks 5 and 6 due to her height and she took to it well. Still gangly as all get out but still great color and overall structure.
Spotless is still wide and superfreaky.
She had stretched herself out of the canopy so I supercropped about 6 branches and she seems to be okay with it.
This week I’ll toss in a full tent shot so you can get an idea of just how big and gangly these gals are.
they are sharing the 4x4 with a couple of finishing plants and the night owl sisters just dwarf em.
Spotless Mind
Full tent shot.
Right side front NOS Spotless Mind
Right side back NOS Mango Sunrise
Left side front and back Rocbud Purple Dodgers
By this point in the grow Mango is so tall I have Spotless mind on about 9” of riser and books and she is still 7-8” shorter than Mango there behind her

Week 7 - Day 49
We’ve come to the end of week 7 and the night owl girls are cruising along.
I think between the training and the genetics these girls are gonna be long growers. I’m estimating 6 more weeks to finish which would put em around 13 weeks.
So last week I had mentioned that I supercropped a few branches.
Well, that seems to have worked. All the branches are knuckled up and budlets have turned upwards again.
Spotless Mind is starting to really shape up now and she might end up being a spectacular plant. I’m hoping!
The only other thing to note is I have introduced a flower booster to their feed of megacrop.
both plants seem to be taking to it fairly well so I’ll keep adding that.

Week 8 - Day 56
Mango and spotless are still doing the thing.
relarively easy geow minus the training on spotless.
still getting mc and flower fuel as feeds.
I think they’re maybe 4 weeks out, but who knows really.

Week 9 - Day 63
We’ve hit week 9 and Spotless Mind and her hidden sis, Mango Sunrise, are still cruising along.
at this point in the grow I’m not doing anything other than feeding em.
I may rearrange things again in the tent so I can see both of the night owl gals side by side again. Or not, who knows lol.
feed is still 3/4 tsp of megacrop, and a dash of flower fuel.
once every week or so I’ve been giving em tap water and Epsom salt which , at the very least, hasn’t contributed to any visible issues. And it might have even helped stave off any calmag issues which I’m down with.
anywho, the star of the show Night Owl Seeds Spotless Mind.

Week 10 - Day 70
These 2 beasts are still plugging away.
Mango Sunriseappears to be much further along in the bloom, she’s a couple weeks from finishing up.
Spotless Mind kind of looks to be 3-4 weeks away.
I hope so anyways, Spotless’ buds need some time to thicken up.
I am so pleased with these 2 plants, the grow has been fairly uneventful in a good way.
soon I will be enjoying some fruity candy dank!

Week 11 - Day 77
It’s week 11 and the night owl gals are still here. Messy and crazy floppy.
mango a sunrise is getting the chop this weekend but I feel like spotless mind still has weeks to go.
feeds the same, lightings the same, yada yada.
im ready for these gals to be done so I can jar up that sweet sweet chiba and get the next drop ready to go.

Week 12 - Day 84 Mango Sunrise Chop
We have hit week 12 and if you noticed the page title, we have chopped Mango Sunrise.
She is on the clothesline drying, a few more days and then I’ll toss it in a brown paper bag to finish up.
Spotless Mind is still going and she is still freaky deaky.
she has a hard drunken lean going but trichs are still mostly clear and the buds seem to still be growing a bit bigger so I’m gonna let her go.
First shot is Spotless, she’s looming over everyone else from her spot in the corner.
And then we have a few shots of mango, from the chop to a sample bit I smoked today.

Day 90 Spotless Mind gets the chop
We’ve made it to the chop, hooty hoo!
took 90 days but this gal is sitting solid cloudy with a few amber trichs and it was time.
she’s on the clothesline. a couple days from now I’ll start trimming the worst of the fans off, leaving any sugar leaves for the final trim in the bin.
very different sort of smell entirely from mango sunrise.
Spotless has a peppery earthy smell whereas mango was all sweet and fruity/floral.
I’ll wrap this entry up once spotless is in the jar.
