Northern Lights NOOB Grow

6.jpg
Like the title says, decided to make a grow journal, vs help thread.

First time ever growing anything. Went with some Northern Light Autoflowers.

Equipment:
2x2x4 Tent
Honeywell Small Fan
Small Amazon Dehumidifier
Viparspectra XS1500 Light about 16-18" above plants
Soil: SUPER SOIL method - 5 Gallon Mesh Pot - Basic Soil with 4TBS Gai Green 4-4-4 per Gallon and 3TBS per Gallon of Gai Green 2-8-4
Water is RO/DI
PH 6.2
TDS:18PPM

1st seed germinated in paper towel and transplanted to 5 gallon pot. Nuked it within 5 days. Lights were at 80% and very close.

Round 2:

1. 5 gallon pot with my original Soil
2. New 5 gallon pot with 75% Ocean and 25% Happy Frog
3. 1 seed in generic solo cup without ferts
4. 1 seed in original 5 gallon

about 3 days later the solo cup sprouted, then the 5 gallon. First week and half, temps were consistent at 75* and humidity 60-75%

5. Light Cycle currently 24/7
1. First week 20% lights
2. After about 15 days I did a solo cup transplant and even being super careful managed to break a bunch of the roots off (few days it has not been the best. But not bad, looks like it will recover, but I won't solo cup transfer ever again, no need, at least for my grow needs.
2. Now on day 21 I am about 35% scared to nuke them. The original 5 gallon pot plant grew much slower but has now developed a nice thick stem and is growing great.
3. Debating Topping these plants, but since it's my first ever attempt, I will go with KISS (keep it simple stupid)

Will feed for about 4 weeks with just the PH water then get ready to top dress as needed.

Again brand new to this. Planned on just one plant, however if both flower and I make it to the finish line I will be very happy.

1. So how about the lights at 35% on day 21 in Veg about 16" above? Should I keep increasing slowly over the days to get up a little more as it grows and flowers?
2. Might Low stress strain them by securing to the sides to let more light in, but just want to keep them happy and growing and have a successful first attempt.

Any help, advice, constructive criticism welcome. Thanks in advance!
