To infinity, and beyond.

Hello and welcome. This will be a continuous journal of my grow space where I will share my successes and failures in hopes that I, and others, will learn something useful from them. To start I will list my basic equipment, then talk briefly about what is happening in the tent.

Currently growing in the tent at approximately day 36 are Mephisto’s Mango Smile and Strawberry Mango Crumble in Roots Organics Original Soil fed with Roots Organics Terp Tea Grow and Terp Tea Bloom. Both of which were topped at around day 19. In the two Rainscience bags is Mephisto’s 4-Assed Monkey and RocBud’s Raspberry Punch Auto. They are also in Roots Organics Original. For now, here are a few pictures and I will try to update weekly.

Raspberry Punch Auto and 4-Assed Monkey born

Yesterday, 03 September, Raspberry Punch Auto and 4-Assed Monkey broke ground. I am annotating today, 04 September, as day one for these ladies.
Today I applied 5tsp of Terp Tea Bloom to both Mango Smile and Strawberry Mango CrumbleTheir Pom-poms look gorgeous.
That is all for now. I will post another update next week or if there is anything of note between now and then.

Simple Compost Tea

Dropped one liter of compost tea each onto Mango Smile and Strawberry Mango Crumble this morning. It had a bit of molasses, worm castings and kelp meal stuffed in a sock, then aerated for about 48 hours. I like to run it at 36 hours but I forgot about it brewing… just feeding the micro-life.
4-Assed Monkey and Raspberry Punch Auto are leggy but healthy. Had the lights up too high.
pictures will be added on the weekly update.

Weekly Update

Day 46 for Mango Smile and Strawberry Mango Crumble. Yesterday they both received 5tsp of Terp Tea Bloom and seem to have started building on the flowers. No particular smells as of yet that I can tell. I’ve not thinned out the fan leaves yet, but that will probably happen over the course of this week. So they may look a little naked on the next weekly update.
Day 8 today for 4-Assed Monkey and Raspberry Punch Auto. They both received 4tsp of Terp Tea Bloom and some rice hulls on top of the soil to retain moisture. Raspberry Punch Auto leaves look a little odd. I’m thinking root issues, which means I am likely overwatering…

Weekly Update

Ended up not defoliating Mango Smile or Strawberry Mango Crumble. They seem to be having a Phosphorus issue. This always happens in my grows and I think that I have narrowed it down to two things; Not a strong enough micro-biological population. I never add compost at the time of Terp Tea application, and I honestly should. Yesterday they all got about half a cup of fresh vermicompost on top of their regular feedings. So this will hopefully work or narrow it down to my least favorite of the two, and that is causing a lockout with my watering habits.
4-Assed Monkey has some leaf mutation going on. Keeping a close eye on it.

There is an addition to the tent. Recycled my no-till pot, added some stuff and now it is going to grow a cover crop mix before I toss anything in it.
Mango Smile and Strawberry Mango Crumble received 4tsp of Terp Tea Bloom. Raspberry Punch Auto and 4-Assed Monkey received 4tsp of Terp Tea Grow. Each plant was then top dressed with approximately one cup of worm castings.

Weekly Update 24 Sept 2021

Around day 60 for Strawberry Mango Crumble and Mango Smile. The necrosis on the leaves stopped spreading it seems. General yellowing from age right now, so it seems the compost with the top dressing is where I was failing. They received the last application of Terp Tea Bloom each. Oh and I had not noticed before, but Strawberry Mango Crumble also has a dual bud site.
Day 20 for Raspberry Punch Auto and 4-Assed Monkey. They both received an application of Terp Tea Grow and going to get topped in the morning. 4-Assed Monkey still looks a little funky.

4-Assed Monkey and the odd foliage

Just documenting some odd leaf development and making a time stamp for future reference on this.
The newer leaf growth looks good but the majority of foliage on it is cupped/cannoed/whatever. Raspberry Punch Auto has already indicated that it is female, but 4-Assed Monkey is holding onto those cards for now it seems. There are a couple of pistils but the plant is mostly bare right now. I will ride this out, like with all my plants, and see what develops.

Weekly Update 02 Oct, 2021

Motivation is low today. I will try to do a better journal entry next week. Rearranged the tent today. I’m not too sure I like it. Most likely end up switching it around again. The 15 gallon no-till is taking up more space than I envisioned. Mango Smile (back left) and Strawberry Mango Crumble (front left) at around day 68 and looking to be harvested in the next two weeks.
Around day 28 for 4-Assed Monkey and Raspberry Punch Auto. They are both doing well and and received a top dressing of Terp Tea Grow with a handful of compost.

Weekly Update 11 Oct, 2021

Weekly update being posted a day late! Got 80 ton of gravel dropped off at the house and spread all that madness this weekend. Fun times…
Anyhow, yesterday marked around day 77 for Mango Smile and Strawberry Mango Crumble. They will be getting harvested before the end of the week as they are all cloudy with a couple amber showing. The fall fade on the leaves is really pretty and the buds got really dense in the past week.
Raspberry Punch Auto and 4-Assed Monkey sitting around day 37. They both received an application of Terp Tea Bloom and watered to capacity with Molasses water mixed at 1tbs/1gal ratio. There is some really nice purple showing on the Raspberry Punch Auto.

Weekly Update 19 Oct, 2021

Raspberry Punch Auto and 4-Assed Monkey sitting at around day 48 on this day. The pictures were taken yesterday and this morning and they received an application of Terp Tea Bloom on Saturday. They are doing ok. Although 4AM has been drooping like crazy the whole grow. I need to focus on fixing my watering habits….
Still drying yet, Strawberry Mango Crumble and Mango Smile were harvested on 14 Oct. The Strawberry Mango Crumble has some really awesome pink/red buds when broke apart. I sampled a bud of it yesterday. It smokes so smooth and eases into a nice relaxing buzz that made my aches disappear. The cured product is going to be great.
Other news, I have two new Raspberry Punch Auto that popped in the Rain Science bags. Another in the 15 gallon no-till with no signs of life yet. Been nothing but struggles with no-till since I started trying to figure it out a year ago…

Strawberry Mango Crumble Smoke Report

Pulled the Strawberry Mango Smile from the drying tent and put it into Grove Bags. I kept a couple of small buds out to try so I rolled one this morning. The smoke was smooth and had a citrus flavor to it. Fifteen minutes later I had finished the joint with that heavy feeling settling in from the top of the head and made my ears feel numb. My body was relaxed but I had plenty of energy to do random tasks and my focus was pretty good. However, at one point I did find myself standing in the middle of the warehouse wondering where I was going and what I was going to do. Social interactions were not strenuous at all and I could follow a conversation without difficulty. This was a wake n bake and the effects lasted for about 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Weekly Update 25 Oct, 2021

No pictures today. It marks day 54 for Raspberry Punch Auto and 4-Assed Monkey. They are both chugging along looking healthy. 4-Assed Monkey may need some N so I will monitor the slightly yellowing leaves at the bottom. They both received Terp Tea Bloom. The two young Raspberry Punch Autos look good at day 6 and got a topping of Terp Tea Grow.
Yesterday I put the rest of the drying buds in Grove bags. Final dry weights were as follows:
Strawberry Mango Crumble- 2 Ounces
Mango Smile- 2.4 Ounces

Weekly Update 31 Oct, 2021

Day 60 for 4-Assed Monkey and Raspberry Punch Auto. The pistils are finally starting to turn brown on the Raspberry Punch Auto which has me thinking it only has about another two weeks. 4-Assed Monkey is packing on the buds like crazy right now. Both plants look to be short on N, so I applied 4tsp of Terp Tea Grow with the Terp Tea Bloom. Hopefully my assumption is correct.
Day 12 for the two young Raspberry Punch Auto’s who seem to be moving along nicely. They received Terp Tea Grow and some Mycorrhiza. Want to see if it assists in the plant nutrient uptake.

Strawberry Mango Crumble new sprout

Strawberry Mango Crumble broke ground this morning. It will be transplanted into the 15 gallon pot in the near future. Two seeds have failed to germinate in this pot now. So the transplant method is being used this time.

Weekly Update 08 Nov, 2021

Day 68 for the 4-Assed Monkey and Raspberry Punch Auto. The buds are bulking up on the 4-AM and she got 2 tbsp of Terp Tea Grow since the leaves are still looking a bit yellow, and 4tbsp of Terp Tea Bloom. She’s got a good three to four weeks left and is steadily taking up a full half gallon of water every day in the 5gal Rainscience Bag. Raspberry Punch Auto is lookin light as hell… buds look amazing but I messed up somewhere with this plant. I think my temps are dropping too low at night for her tastes. I had added my SF2000 to the tent a couple of weeks ago which also added light stress to her and the 4-AM (caused one ‘nanner that I found and plucked).
Day 28 for the younger two Raspberry Punch Auto and the leaf structure is almost exactly the same as with the first one growing. Not sure why, but I anticipated larger variances in these lol. Hopefully I can get my crap together on these two and grow a better plant this time around for these ladies.
Strawberry Mango Crumble is at Day 4 and looking good!

Weekly Update 15 Nov, 2021

Day 75 For Raspberry Punch Auto and 4-Assed Monkey.
Raspberry Punch Auto will be getting harvested either Thursday or Sunday. I have hopes of an ounce but not holding my breath. The production on this plant was completely my fault.
4-AM still looks really light green. Next one, I am going to increase the Grow from 4tsp to 5tsp per week and add one more application of it throughout flower.
Day 35 for the younger Raspberry Punch Auto’s and they are very healthy so far. I have not topped or trained them.
Day 11 (transplanted into 15gal on Day 7) for the Strawberry Mango Crumble. She’s looking a little weak from the transplant that I totally jacked up. Half the soil broke off, taking part of the tap root with it. I want to see if she will persevere.

Raspberry Punch Auto Chopped

Chopped and hung the Raspberry Punch Auto in my drying tent last night. Probably an Ounce after she dries. The purples are pretty intense and almost black on some of the leaves. I failed to photograph her as it was late and my old man eyes were tired. There will be a posted weight after she is dried.

Been a couple of weeks… Holiday fun has just begun.
Chopped 4-Assed Monkey today at day 95. She’s hanging in the drying tent now and I anticipate close to four ounces from her.
Got two ounces from the Raspberry Punch Auto that I chopped a couple of weeks ago. The other two are short as hell at day 55. Not sure if it’s a me problem or just genetics.
Strawberry Mango Crumble at day 31 in the 15gal. She’s looking to be huge and I’m excited for it haha!
In the front right corner there is another 4-Assed Monkey at day 3.

Ended up getting 4.7 ounces dried from 4-Assed Monkey. The buds are not as dense as they should be. My fault for stressing her out so much and making her fox tail :cuss:
