Week 6 - Just a bridge to awesomeness

This installment is pretty boring. The plants are progressing along.
This is 3 Bears OG. I love how thick the buds are getting. That and the close nodes makes this plant so fun to grow.

Super Lemon Haze continues to stretch and stretch. I’m getting a bit concerned with the bud development. The branches are getting pretty well covered, but I can see the calyxes are still tiny. This one is supposed to be real fast, but I’m not sure it’s up for a race with the Mephisto strains. And before anyone comments, I’m keeping the lights lower than they ought to be for the SLH because the others are the real priorities. It’s really only the tallest branches that are too high.

Sour Stomper is an absolute joy to watch grow. The buds are so dense and beautiful.

Your plant is looking nice and branchy. I’m.curious how your harvest goes. My SLH is super stretchy and thin and I wonder if it was how I treated them.

As far as dosing goes, I was using 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom in soil with amendments. I do that ever other watering. The other waterings are with pH-adjusted tap water. I have to water every 2 days because the cloth pots evaporate so quickly. At this time, I would water each plant with 2000ml.

3 Bears has been very compact and tight. The nodes never got more than a few cm apart and after flowering, they’re DENSE! I topped mine ended up with 11 almost identical branches. Each of those has the top 15cm covered in dense bud like a cattail only fatter.

I have that freebie too. I think I might try that one out in ’23 if life permits.

If I hadn't of heavily trained my stretchy slh it would be looking the same as yours it was stretching like crazy I had to keep bending it over every couple of days in order to stop the main colas from stretching much further than the rest of the plant. I also topped mine at the 5th node. I think that the strength of the lighting makes a difference in controlling the stretch also. I don't have any experience with synthetic nutes tbh just organics but she does look hungry for some nitrogen given the yellowing leaves at the bottom and I've made this mistake plenty of times before of not giving enough N in flower.
