Alright. Its been an interesting last couple days to say the least. My plant in coco started showing signs of lockout, so I flushed with a feeding of around 400ppm. Today is day I believe 32 of flower. For my smaller plant, its on day 21 from seed. The small plant is for sure stunted.
In my last entry, I had said I was soaking the fabric pots that I had already used, so I could pot up some new plants. Well this is still the plan but I have had to soak the fabric pots for a lot longer than I had hoped, more than likely due to how heavy I overfed my last plants. The first day I took my pots out of the water and vinegar solution, it looked like nothing even happened to them. Still the same amount of salt buildup. The water came out really murky though, you couldn't see even one inch down. I pitched the water and mixed up another vinegar and water solution. I gave this a good amount of agitation, let it sit, then agitated it again later in the day, and once again the next morning. Upon pulling the pots out, I noticed they did look significantly better, but still containing a lot of buildup. So then I decided to do the same thing, but this time in a mixture of water and baking soda. So I did that, and I pulled them out today. The water was much clearer, but still murky and one of the bags still has buildup. So, I'm soaking them until tomorrow morning in just water and then I will give them some agitation, spray them with the hose, and put them out to dry. As soon as they are completely dry, I will be planting 2 new plants.
Back to my two current plants, the small one was due to be top dressed today, but the medium is still a good moisture and does not need watered. I will be top dressing in 2 days when it is time to water. The small plant has shown a bit of growth, but its on day 21, and looks like a day 11 plant. I will be growing this to the end even if it is stunted though. As for my larger plant, it has not shown anymore discoloring or anything on the leaves nearly as bad as the other day. I cut off the effected leaves to make sure I would be able to spot anything new. I'll be posting some pictures in the post I make after watering and topdressing the small plant.
As a quick side note, my Northern lights from Growers Choice is starting to smell extremely skunky. It has 22 days left to cure, and I'll be so glad to try it out.
