I am not getting the best results with my 100w diamond series. Is this enough (in theory) for 1 or 2 plants?
My problem may be an absolute inability to maintain proper RH-I'm usually around 40%, probably due to the exhaust fan.
I would appreciate any input.

Honest bro I'd get a bigger light . 100 watts isn't enough if u want decent yields

RH of 40% to 60% is OK. Get a AutoCob and don't pay attention to the watts issue. Make it a more light issue.
This white light cob will perform as well as or better than a 150 hps or a 300 watt Chinese LED.
More white light is good. I have to add CFL's just to keep the heat up this time of year also.

There is nothing wrong with a 40% humidity...despite some feeding errors I manage to get almost 1gram per watt, with overall humidity of far lower than 40%(more like 25%). I run a space that is 56"long X 16"wide X 30" from the top of the pots to the lights surface, and I jam in 3 100X3w leds(run at 140watts real draw) which work great.

Like buzzyman32 said I would grab another light. Since you are in the Diy LEDs you are already on the right track!! Results using high(er) end cobs should put my 3w diodes to shame. Good luck!!
