DIY 12x12 room

My brother moved out and in a couple weeks I'll have some extra money to transform his old room into my grow room. Its a 8x10 with 9 ft ceiling, one window facing north. I cant do any structural modification to the room. I'd like to keep it under 450 dollars if possible. Thinking about starting with a rootspa 8 site system. From there I'm kinda lost as far as utilizing the space. I have a 600 watt mh\hps set up as well. Any help from there I could really use

With that space you'll need at least 4 600w+ lights, 1000w would be better. 4 Phillips d papillon 315w would be best though.. Just my 2¢

Build a tent in the middle of the room. Saw this and will do it myself some day. Probably cost less than $100

I agree with the tent idea. Prolly cause that is what I do!! I have a 10x10 foot room I just built in the basement. It needs to hold everything I use for growing. I wanted space for clones, mothers, vegging and flowering. Then I need room to mix chemicals, trim, store stuff, keep my stash... Well you get the picture! I have two 39.5x39.5 in. tents one is 5 ft the other 7 ft, a work bench, shelves, computer, I am building cabinets for the rest and hope to have them operational next year.
I would say you would be well served by getting a decent sized tent and the necessary fans and filters to vent it and keep the smell down. After that use your imagination!
