Grow Mediums 1st DWC grow and Think different from DP journal

so woke up this morning and the spots have not shown ne increase or decrease in size. and the color seems to show the same result comparing to last night. not good not bad news.

I'm the farthest thing from an expert on the matter, but what I have been led to believe is that once you see damage on the leaves even if you fix the issue the visible damage stays. I could be wrong in which case ignore me.

PH is the most important bit

Very Very true! My first attempt was a disaster because I didn't think I had to pay any attention and people were being overly dramatic... WRONG!

I have noted the same, leaf damage seems to be permanent but once fixed they usually do well. It is a weed after all... And in nature there are always critters munching on leaves, branches falling and damaging leaves etc. It knows how to repair itself.

Speaking of critters, the best part of DWC, once you get everything right, is there are no insects to worry about! Most little bastard bugs turn your soil into an orgy pit. No soil, no orgy! :dance2:

DAY 10 so I have changed out the res dropped the cal mag and silica blast for another week. bump up the veg nutes my water is around 25ppm so Im running 1 bucket around 375ppm and the other two around 320ppm.. also lowered the ph to 5.6 thanks for the help and support. need to run and get sum more rihzo 2morrow and couple other little things.

besides the burn spots, they are showing no signs of slowing down 2day. I also lowered the water level so it sits 1/4 in under the pots hoping to draw those roots out. I want to see them!

will post pictures 2morrow!

<<--------- how do I add a profile pic. I upload one in the album but cant figure out. Thank you

Go to your "Settings" at the top right hand corner of the page. When you click that, look for edit avatar on the left hand of that page. You should see a place that will allow you to upload a new one. If it is not there, you may be locked out until you get your post count up.

you should be checking to see if your plants are happy with their nutrient level. for example the bucket that is at 375ppm, before you add any water back in check the ppm and the ph.

ppm still the same and ph rised= perfect (happy plant)
ppm dropped ph rised= wants more food
ppm rised ph rised= too much food (dilute)

i would say that if ppm dropped more then 50 ppms in one day she can handle a stonger feed. i would really recommend getting a meter that reads in ec best way to tell how your plants are doing with their nutes.

thank you bud! and will order a EC meter online. but the ppm has been about consistent a little drop. and ph has been rising like .2 a day.. but thanks for the knowledge bro! didn't get pics going 2day but will have em for you with in next 24hours.

but..................... :bong: they look healthy no marks on new growth. looking really good.. I don't think I mentioned it but after I swap out the veg T5 lights im going to move the 5gal buckets around in a L shape in the closet. and going to put a SCROG net up about a 12in above the 5gal buckets. I have drain plugs at the bottom of the 5gal buckets for Easy drain so I don't have to do to much movement to the plant. trying to Maximize my yield. thanks for the love. night

very true & good info mate ....but thats down to how much the plant drinks & only really comes into play later in the grow once shes drinking a liter plus a day ect.At this stage the seedling wont consume enough nutes to have an effect on PPM's yet . Avery good point to remember later on when looking for the sweet spot :High 5:
