Lighting 1st DWC grow, BAM by Pal

I've had hash tips a few times and it's only the chlorophyll that's affected the THC is unaffected so if you don't mind smoking white weed you will be fine.

nice 1 tang but I was thinking something completely different.......

if the lights are too close this causes light saturation where the plant has to much useable light and cant transfer it into growth so you end up with discoloration of the flowers and leaves with less yield overall cause the plant is stressed

Cheers bro I didn't realise to much light would stress....do you think the stress could cause more THC production like UVB does late in flower?

i think that is the million dollar question right their.....

what causes an increase in thc?

stress
certain light waves
humidity
genetics
nutrients

take your pick, theirs theories for every method

Hey guys, my PK booster just arrived and I was just wondering about the correct strength? I will be upping the canna boost to full 60ml and the Canna feeding chart recommends 23ml of pk for my res conditions - does that sounds good or is it easy to over do it like with veg and flower nutes? I'm making up the res as we speak and letting it bubble until I get a response from someone I'm ssuming because it's only gonna be used for about 6 days it can be pretty strong? Thanks in advance

hey bud ... think Seymour uses it at 1mpl (15ml - 15l) & ups the EC 0.2 ....tops off with water through the week (should keep EC level) but adds another 15ml of PK to that water every 2 days & changes the res at the end of the week with the EC lower :smokebuds:

I use it @ 1ml per ltr so around 16ml per res then add 16ml every other day for the week, keep her @ ph 5.9-6.0 and top off with plain water to keep her res full

you can keep your current ec and add the pk boost 1st then add your canna boost then top up to required ec with canna flores a+b

this is how I would do it

I would increase my ec by .2 like cocha says but by this stage of the grow id have a better grip on my plant, your still struggling to keep her ec stable so I wouldn't try anything to over the top although it is your grow and your in charge

Awsome grow Pal23, I have been having bleaching in my current grow under the same lights as you are using. Probably a bit late, but I tie the tallest bleached buds down almost horizontal. Have done it on a few grows, and if you get them in time the buds on the underside just grow up around the edges. It also means you get great light coverage to the whole bud.

I have just ordered the same strain, so have read your whole thread with great interest. Whats the smell like? I would guess by now quite potent!
I currently have 2 TD's in my tent which is only 120 x 60 x 180 and that is pretty crammed. I am unsure about getting 2 of these bad boys in there. What's your thoughts?

Glad to have you here bro, your grow is going really well too - looking very healthy. If I'm honest I kinda wanted the bleached tips just once for the bag appeal I'm not sure why I just like the look of it! In my next grow I should be using a much bigger tent so lst (as effective as it is) wont be necessary as bleaching due to light heights wont be an issue.
The smell when opening the tent isn't very strong at all but I'm not sure if that's because I'm in there so often I may have become accustomed to it slightly. However when you squeeze a bud and smell your finger tips it's like heaven man - I'm a huge fan of fruity strains and this definitely ticks the box. It is real hard to describe but it kinda like mixed fruits blueberry strawberry citrus with slight skunk/spicey undertones..I know that's not very specific but I'll try and do better in the smoke report :
I think one big BAM in that space would be great but I doubt you'll get two in there without one dominating the available light - having extra space to move around in the tent is also very handy - can't wait to get into my big tent, it's 1.6x1.6x2.0m and I'll still probably only run two buckets in there with space to manoeuvre easily No more going back and forth with dripping roots!
