due to the lack off good quality weed i have decided to start my own grow with the above strains, seedlings are on day 9 after being planted in the soil (after i cracked the seeds using the paper towel method) i had 14 total and 13 have made it this far which im pretty proud of.... have a 2.4 x 1.2 grow room with x2 600whps... atm i have no extraction or filter system but will invest when i feel the need for this. where it is my airflow is good and i can leave the tent open atm only having to use a floor standing fan.... this is keeping the temp around 28c but humidity is at 30% any ideas how i could raise this??? ill keep updated with pics with the hope of gaining some help along the way

forgot to mention i have planted straight into 12ltr pots off canna terra so no need for nutrients yet but i would also like to here of any reccomendations off what i should be using next???

all help apreciated... sorry im a bit over the place as i z i am new lol

Hey! Nice start!

Your temp and RH are fine...I'm surprised actually, that your temps are that low with 2 600W HPS rolling...that's a fair amount of light. :)

I'm growing at 18-24RH...some say a lower RH allows for pots to dry faster and the shorter cycle between wet and dry is beneficial.

thanks ..... do you think they all look well??? what do you think about the pot that is furthest back on the pic with 7 in it?? i find the leaves are a lot lighter than the leaves on all the others.... this is the red poision... im guessing its because its a different strain as all the others look similar and dont look light.. am i correct??

Color hard to determine given the yellow saturation to all those photos, but it looks like a "ten fingers, ten toes" healthy baby.

Ahhh, I see the other photo also depicting it....yeah, she's fine.

do you have any recommendations for what nutrients i should feed them??? im reading a lot of other journals etc and finding out information but dont really have a clue about nuts.... and what it should be being fed and when... price is not an issue as we only want the best for these we ladies.... i believe that the soil i have planted in has enough in it to get to week 2/3???

cheers for getting back to me i really am a novice at this and am kinda just winging it atm thru a bitta research... anytime i checked the net for any q&a i was directed here so decided i should join and this was the place to be lol :thank::thank:

That is a humdinger of a question, and one that will illicit a myriad of responses - I myself am a novice and have a game plan but have not yet reached the time of introducing nutes.

What I CAN tell you is that the beginning of the feeding schedule is VERY reliant on what medium you're using and what it already contains or doesn't contain out of the bag.

Auto flowering plants GENERALLY can only safely tolerate 1/4 to 1/2 strength concentrations of what any particular nute company suggests. (as the doses were designed for photos)

I'm a Fox Farms guy on this first grow of mine, but many complain about salt build up and the need to flush with Fox Farm Nutes.

Some swear by General Hydroponics line, some swear by Advanced Nutrients line, etc.

You will need to check and maintain proper ph levels throughout, you will need to make sure that you protect against root lock out (ph levels that cease/hamper the root's ability
to uptake nutrients) you will need to watch for and protect against/correct nute deficiencies such as Cal/Mag deficiency and Nitrogen deficiency.

Fun stuff! But a bit of a learning curve on the front end. Hopefully some veteran growers will chime in.

Cheers!

One of the best things you can do to get very "on point" advice is to comprehensively list everything you have and are running.

I don't know anything about Canna Terra....

cheers i cant wait to see how the xxl autopilot goes, it claims to finish in 6 weeks... i know it will be a few more than that maybe but still interested to see how early it really does finish:Sharing One:

was up visiting the babies today and boy are they coming on i just love the difference that i can see with every visit, plan on dropping my lights a bit tomorrow as i currently have them about 2 feet away .... ill take some pics tomorrow again just so yous can see the real difference in 2 days!!!

Good luck man. I Hope your grow gonna kick ass. :)

Hey willow :) I'm using canna terra myself (first grow) and what I found out the other day (a tad too late) courtesy of Andy Botwin is that peat (the main ingredient in canna terra) naturally lowers the PH of soil so you defo want to have some dolomite lime in there!! Absolutely definitely! I've been waiting a week almost f mine to arrive and all the while my plants are getting more poorly :( it can take weeks t get going aswell so purchase soon as. Unfortunately I'm stuck with below 6 PH until then n there's nothing I can do about it. Good luck with your grow :) Chandy :sharing one:
