New Grower 1st PC GROW

Looking good man. I used to want to try a PC grow before I moved here and had an extra closet. I had a huge Tower I wanted to use, but was always too paranoid at our old place. Then when we moved I just happen to have an extra under stair closet in our room.
Can't wait to see how they turn out H.E.

thanks bro.

you can always use the pc as a mother/clone starter case -- even a vegging case if you like.

then transfer over the under the stairs for flowering.

wish i had a bigger space to work with -- pc is better than nothing.

stay tuned my friend -- hope i dont disappoint.

liking this LST work on those ladies
they look happy and healthy seems you taking real good care of it brutha, keep up the work and yeah the whole subd matter got me all twisted too, i was subd to about 7 including this, they stopped updating for some reason but now their back in work, cant wait to see that OG kush harvest i heard its one hell of a smoke! :smokeit:

keep us updated
otwo:peace:

thanks alot o-two -- will be doing my best as always.

i think that sub issue might have had someting to do with the site shutting down? -- glad its fixed up tho.

og kush is mighty delicious -- always been good to me.

cant wait to see how this plant turns out.

stay tuned brother -- update will be flowing as much as possible.

Hi herbal :)

Well that was a fun half hour or so i had reading this :)

Well done for taking on board advice and rescuing the plants from the nutrient lockout situation.

We can forget what we read but we don't forget what we learn via either pleasure or pain ;+}

I'm only on my third grow and in a similar environment, i made a growbox from chipboard, it's 2x2x3 feet high.

I'm very familiar with the issues you have had, especially temperatures in a small space.

Some advice on hygrometers, i have three hygrometers and i bought a precision humidity sensor to plug into my Arduino and test the hygrometers.

As far as temperature went they were all within 2 degrees of each other but with humidity they were as much as 24% in disagreement !

I use plant magic soil supreme, i learnt the hard way (twice coz i'm dumb !) and had very inferior results using inferior compost.

I found the nute lockout strange, though, because your plants grew at an admirable pace.

A lot of good soil-growers i know on my UK forum don't pH-treat the tapwater, in the UK it is generally around 8. I am told the soil naturally buffers the ph and the plants i am growing now in quality soil are much healthier looking.

Here's a plant from first grow, day 37 :

So i haven't worried about ph with this grow and there have been no ph-related problems.

My mistake this time (can't wait to do a grow with no mistakes !) was to underfert then overfert in a panic, hence the brown tips and yellow fringes in the last pic.

Power to ya bro, all going good,

nibs.

hey nibble.

glad you found the thread -- hoped you grabbed a comfy chair.

thanks for taking the time to read through the thread -- highly appreciated.

"We can forget what we read but we don't forget what we learn via either pleasure or pain ;+}" - this is definitely true -- all about the personal experiences.

i dont thjink we can learn enough as we continue to learn and grow everyday adapting through different situations.

also just taking as much good info/help + good vibes from this community.

im actualy surprised that all 3 of my temps/humidity checkers are all within 2-4 degree/humidity within each other -- so its pretty accurate.

all my reading has pointed out how important PH is to the plants so im making it a habit to check my ph in / out as much as possible.

i mustve had a bad batch of ffof/hf combo as it really locked out my nutrients in the early stages.

but im glad that i was able to fix the problems asap before it got worse.

seems that 3rd times is the charm and your grows just got better and better.

its probably better to underfeed than overfeed with nutes as you can just add accordinly instead of flushing. (but who am i to say?)

your grow is coming along nicely.

i wish you the best of luck my friend.

thanks again for stopping by and make sure you check in from time to time.

:toke:

For such a small space, you have it going on my friend. +Rep my friend :peace: Hazy

glad you found your way back here hazy.

appreciate the comment -- doing what i can with my only option for now.

thanks for the rep brother. i will be reppin you as well for your grow when i get some points.

currently have 0 to give out and not sure exactly how to increase it. haha.

stay tuned and make sure you check in -- updates will be comin accordingly.

i see an amazing potential herb, this young LR yet all those bud sites, dont even try to imagine how it will be a frosty and delicious bud making machine, keep it up and keep us updated!

Doesn't look like you get much bud from those lowryders man, alongside the germ rate I'll be steering clear of TJD's strains I think.

They look amazing!!!! Things seem to be moving along perfectly!!:bong:
