Most likely if the big stems snap then they are good. I usually wait until right before they snap. You bend it you can hear it cracking on the inside, but doesn't on the outside. (Hope that makes sense) :smokebuds:

Then I just burp away. Just thought I would give the method I use. Everyone prefers something different.

just sample some dried product (through my pipe) and it was DELICIOUS my friend. :dance2:

it tasted better and it wasnt as harsh as i expected at all.

its only going to get better with time after the cure (if i make it that far lol)

time for the cure LR #2 @ DAY 88 THANKSGIVING DAY UPDATE

LR #2: time for the cure.

dry time: 3 days hang dry // 1 day inside the paper bag = 4 days total

- smaller nugs stem snaps clean off
- bigger nugs "cracks" inside but bendy on the outside.

dry weight: 7.40g

quick smoke report after the dry:

through pipe: uplifting high and pretty strong lasted about 1:30+
- surprisingly potent and stronger than i expected.
- good feeling high that makes you relax and active at the same time.
- smooth smoke with a distinct taste (i cant pin point it at the moment)
- little harsh (could be because of the pipe)

through a joint: strong and relaxed lasting about 2:00+ easy.
- wasnt harsh at all like the pipe
- even smoke/burn and stayed lit
- still trying to figure out that taste
- smoking this way seemed to hit more towards the body high (my preference) but with a strong head high as well.
- waiting for the CURE.

about the buds: leafy and sticky icky
- semi dense/fluffy (not too fluffy but not as dense as i like)
- sticky bud once touched and squeezed
- a little leafy than expected but still delicious
- slight scent of fruity/skunky citrus (if that makes sense? -- beautiful aroma!)
- scent gets very STRONG and in your face once its grinded up and broken down.

may i ask how often you burp the jars for the 1st week and so on stylez?

im currently burping every 6 hrs for 5-10 minutes each. << is that too much?

buds are a little dry to the touch and smelling really pungeant and potent! (thank god for having no GRASSY/HAY smell)

yea im currently out of smoke so ive been dipping slowly in there.

its been surprisingly potent as well.

hoping to atleast save a gram or 2 for a proper (min 2 week cure) for that in-depth smoke report.

If it feels dry to the touch a bit, you might not have to burp as much. When I first cure, I will burp a few times a day, and I will also take all the bud out and lay it out for 20 min or so, then put them back in the jars in different order.

You might be able to just let it stayed closed up now if dry to the touch. This is just my process and how I do things. :smokebuds:
