Hi all,

First timer and all ready in a flap.

Put the seeds in (after paper towel) yesterday and fear I might have put them about an inch down. Is this too far in will it be ok?
Also the topsoil was very dry this morning, (temp about 27 and humidity about 45) but wherever I read it says no water needed for a few days.......?

3xWW-auto
3xRoyal AK
3xNorthern Light
1mx1mx1.80m 400watt ups

Find it hard to find an idiots guide to walk through every step from the start and what's expected when.:D

Any help would be great.:toke:

Oh yeah, and after posting this my front door isn't gonna be kick in by dibble is it?

WHO'S AT THE DOOR ! , naw only kidding mate, lol , first off a big welcome to AFN my friend and enjoy your stay with all us nice little green growers

First off when planting seeds into soil only plant a few mm down with tails sticking down and i find useing a pencil helps loads , yes they will come up but may take a little longer if buryed a tad to deep and if the tops of the pots are drying out just spray with water to keep them moist ( love that word ) lol , hope your girls are in 10lt pots or less as they will get big on you dude

Just keep updateing this thread and we'll help you the best we can dude , good luck with your grow buddie :smokebuds::peace:

Welcome to AFN Dude
I usualy water the pots fully before i sow my seeds last for around 4-5 days then and when there dry i water again not just in the middle but the whole of the pot as the roots spread out as the go down.. As Dex said you can use a spray bottle to wet up the soil and use a pencil to make the hole for your tap root to sit in:thumbs:

Your humidity could do with being raised to around 65% for veg you can wet some towels and put them in your tent this will help a little or by an air mister( air purifier)

9 plants in a 1M space will be quite tight by full flower I have a 90x90x170 and can fit in 6 in 7L pots but its going to be very tight:2cents:

"Dibble":rofl: Now not herd that for years along with 5 0 :cough::cough:

Thanks dex, buzz in about this project been smoking years and the price finally got to me:jaw:

Proper kid at Christmas stuff:D

:peace:

Thats the reason i started growing i was paying £200 quid an oz and now for that price im getting 20oz plus its a no brainer imo mate

yo Si remember Top Cat and officer Dibble , lmao :peace:

Dont worry about how far down they are if they havent broke soil in 3 days or so just carefuly move some soil where the seed is to see whats going on. Dont sweat it they will be fine just be ready for some serious bush in the grow space lol:beast:

Welcome dude! you've come to the right place for advice, great friendly community offering a wealth knowledge and support. Had to chuckle at your post mate we've all been through the 1st grow flap lol! in a similar boat to yourself, been smoking for a long time, sick of the prices and non-descript product, I'm now on my 3rd grow still got loads and loads to learn but once you've got that 1st one under your belt your confidence will soar (along with your head!). It doesn't matter if things go wrong or don't turn out as expected it's all a learning curve and i guarantee any bud you smoke that you've grown yourself will be instantly more satisfying than some you've passed over a wad of dosh to some scrotey dealer for! As a noob myself the only advice i can offer you is patience, resist the temptation to fiddle with things constantly, and don't panic at every little spot or curled leaf etc etc, Auto's are fairly hardy things and even if things go slightly wrong you'll still end up with a smokable product, but the best advice is to use this place and the wonderful people who populate it to support and guide you:peace:
