Hey friends. I'm thinking these girls are ready for their big day. Currently, they are at week 11.5 and I was planning to free them from their earthly home and prepare them for the next adventure this weekend. They were grown in a 3:2 ratio of Fox Farms Ocean Forest and perlite and fed with the Fox Farms Trio of nutrients. The Sweet Train Wreck made it to 14.5 inches tall and the Lemon Haze is 13.5 inches under a bunch (16) of standard household 24w CFL bulbs.

Are they ready for their coming out? Let me know what you think.

Btw. Thanks to all the posters I've borrowed ideas from during this trip.

looking good, i recon you could leave it flushing about another week till you can pluck some of them leaves off easily

Damned nice family of ladies you have there ... I agree w/ Lonewolf and would let it go another week or two cause I'm not seeing any brown pistils and I like to harvest when all mine are brown ... I'd say the harvest window is about open and anytime from now to a month from now would work ... letting it go longer will improve the high and the yield ... it's almost impossible for a new grower to let them run too long.

Lonewolf/Chester, thanks for the comments. I'm a good ways past the breeder harvest time but expected that based on the info I picked up on AFN. I kept the grow nutes to them until mid week 7 (when they stopped upward growth) and figured I have to go 12 weeks total. Started final flush beginning of week 10. Saturday will be end of week 12. I think I have the patients to let them continue for a bit longer. Being new at this, I think I have a fair idea about the growing part. It's the stopping part that eludes me. Thanks again

well your doing a smashing job for a newbie man, im at the same stage as you and gonna keep flushing till most leaves yellow and fall off easily, infact your a week or so ahead of me but near enough

I like to harvest when almost all of the pistilshave turned brown and shriveled up ... in this way it helps me to combat the natural tendency to want to harvest too soon ... in my opinion a bud should look done when you harvest it ... like a fruit or a vegetable they are always better when they are allowed to ripen prior to picking ...
