Mephisto Genetics 1st Time Grower, Mephisto Sour Crack, Mephisto Fantasmo Express, & Mephisto Crackberry Photo

Looking healthy bro! Those stands are sweet gonna make cleanup soo much easier!
Yeah man, I was looking for something cheap I could use without having 6 buckets or something. They look awesome, super bright green. I need to borrow my boys HD camera once they start to flower in a few weeks.

Also I want to add a little side note on the Sensi pH Perfect Coco Grow I am currently using, along with the Voodoo Juice root stimulator. As the pictures show, my plants seem to be doing great. The thing is I am doing something that most people using this product would say I shouldn't do. I am adjusting the pH to exactly 6.0-5.8 with pH down (General Hydroponics). I have a pH pen and I felt uncomfortable knowing the ph was only adjusting to about what the recommended pH for soil would be. At 1/2 strength nute's, I'm adding 3 ml of pH down, and for the 2 week old's + plants I am feeding 3/4 strength and I add 2.5 ml of pH down to get to the sweet spot (using 1 gallon containers). So far as you can see the plants seem to be liking it. Also as I stated in one of my updates, run off tested at 6.2 pH. Maybe this would be a non issue if I were using reverse osmosis water, or tap that was at 7.0 ph. If your tap is 7.0-7.2 you more then likely would be right on or below 6.2 pH without needing to adjust with pH down like I am.

I just wanted to add that for anyone using tap at around 7.7 pH and using the Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect Coco line, and felt the way I did and wondered how adjusting the pH with another product would react. So far so good.

Good to know. I've aways wondered about tht but couldn't measure it out. So u were getting like 6.5 ph when adding the nutes? I wonder what I was getting.. my tap ph is 8.2!
Without adding ph down its at around 6.8. Your plants looked amazing so I wouldn't change anything haha. I hope I can have mine turn out that beautiful.

At full strength in 1 gallon today I had to add 2 ml of down to reach 5.9. Keep in mind I'm just saying my water. I just wanted to put it out there because I couldn't find any straight up info on the subject, and this is what I've been doing since I introduce nutrients into each plants feeding schedule.

If you ever have the extra cash, I would buy a ph meter just so you know what's working for you.

Yeah bro I'm gonna have to on my next grow I'm trying out some new nutrients called Veganic Vegamtrix. I been thru 3 ph meters in my time growing they always screw up for me after a bit. What brand are u using?

Just a cheap one. I bought calibration and storage fluid for it and I haven't needed to recalibrate. I don't expect it to last long. I plan on buying a nice one in a few months though.

View attachment 471224 Went to Wal-Mart and got these wire stands for under 5 bucks a piece, and some trays to drain to waste. Works pretty awesome.

That is a great idea, it is so important to allow air circulation under the fabric pots.

Your grow room is looking good. I would be spending a lot of time in there.

Yeah I've noticed that with these wire stands and a floor fan the pots are drying a lot quicker for sure. I'm real happy with the decisions I've chosen so far.

A little update for where I am in my grow. My auto's are doing well. Fantasmo is getting long and spindly showing her sativa dominance. She's at about 12" tall @ 18 days old. The Sour Crack is very bushy, but much smaller stature. All are roughly 5 inches tall eldest (#1) is 22 days, (#2) is 20 days, (#3) is 18 days. The photo Crackberry are just getting huge, extra bushy, no sign of sex yet. Crack berry #1 I fim'd on the 1st, Crack berry #2 I topped on the 6th. I also trimmed/cut fan leaves in half to get further penetration on Crackberry #1 which it has seemed to take it all like a beast, whereas I've left the Crackberry #2 do it's thing until yesterday when I topped her. I will more then likely do some trimming on her tomorrow to expose some more light to her lower branches since #1 seemed to like it a lot. #1 is 24 days old, #2 is 22 days old. I've attached some photos. Excuse my camera it sucks lol.

All auto besides the youngest (Sour Crack #3) have shown sex to be female. I'm confident #3 will follow up. I wish the Photo Crackberry would give me a sign. Lol. I'm guessing I won't know until I switch them over to flower?
