I just want to make sure this is a result of over watering and not something else. I'm using Voodoo Juice at about 3/4 strength with water ph'd to 5.8, feeding her from now on only 10ml through my dropper for the next couple of days until I notice improvement or signs she needs more water. These Crackberry seeds I have are photo regular btw.

Also I'm an unemployed disabled vet, so I'm home all day to take care of my plants so I will be closely monitoring my grow everyday. Just so everyone knows I can water as often as needed.

So one of my Sour Cracks sort of sprouted! The shell was still partially on, I gently took it off. Will it be okay? The tip looks like a bulb lol. Or the tip of a dick lol. Will the leaves spread out?

There is also a membrane inside of the seed if you got the seed and the membrane off and you cant see any damage to the little one then you will be fine, if you got the seed off and the membrane is still on the seed then she may struggle to open, you should know in the next 24hrs or maybe less as the leaves should be open in that time.

Congrats on the new little one, sure you will do great Sour Crack just loves to grow and is a very tasty and strong smoke.

Awesome, I have another one going as well, hasn't popped through the surface yet though. Hopefully the membrane came off with the seed shell. Is there a way for me to look at it and tell? I'm looking info up right now. One site said to use "clean" spit on the membrane lol. Not really trying to do that as I would think spit to not exactly be sterile ha. Also I'm not even certain the membrane is still on it.

I'm going to just let it be. I misted it and put some plastic wrap back over to raise humidity so if the membrane is still attached hopefully the moisture will soften it up enough to allow it to open up.

Also I read that this is more common in indica strains that are heavily resinous.... so as long as she survives this ordeal maybe it's a good sign? Lol

Helmet head has shed her membrane and cotyledons are open! Yay lol. Finally succeeded in sprouting my first auto. I think lessons to be taken away from the 2 deaths I had are don't over water, and make sure not to plant too deep. I don't personally think I planted too deep on those, but I was extra careful not to make that mistake moving forward. I still I have one other Sour Crack to sprout, and Fantasmo to sprout which I'm hoping by Saturday to see their respective faces. That would put my tent at 4 sprouts, which was the target. I do have one other crackberry sowed in a small cup as well just in case the other is a male. If I can get three of 5 to harvest I will mark this as a great success.

Great to hear bro and well done on your first sprouted auto baby, was just about to say you most prob done the right thing leaving it and to wait to see if she opens and then come across the post saying she had opened ;) happy days.

Sour Crack is a VERY resinous and frosty girl, so the info you came across could be correct even though i have not heard that one before.

My only two deaths were both seedling and due to overwatering, in my opinion germ and seedling stage is the hardest hurdle to get past, after that you just keep the girl fed and she will grow and reward you, the happier she is the more she will give you so just like most women really lol.

Yeah, I'm so happy everything is looking up. I know I have a couple of weeks of nurturing before I will feel like I've gotten passed the seedling phase, which will make me feel even more comfortable. So far, I'm really happy to be growing, I can tell this is going to be very rewarding mentally, and addicting too lol, as I'm a perfectionist. The support I'm getting on this site is just awesome too. When I read through posts on other forums when I'm looking for answers, everyone seems quite dickish. Whereas on here everyone is super helpful and nice which I appreciate. This is the only forum I'm a member of for that reason.
