Hi Briain,it seems uv got a decent setup to get started,im usin the Biobzz range & havnt had any big issues with it,the Q about ur light,well 1 light is a bit thin for ur size of area 600-1000 would hav been more ideal or 2 400w. but try & keep them in 1.2x1.2 area u should be good wi that. Anyway gd luck uv got the best beans so ur on the right rd my friend..:smokebuds:

Thank you so much for your comment man, really helping me out i havent got anyexpierence yet so this is my first grow and i want to be sure i do it right and hopefull y get a nice smoke and yield.
So keep the plants closer together in my area of space?
And im pretty sure i can get another 400wt if you think that will do the job man?

I reckon atleast one cfl on both sides would help.
But yeah try keep em growing in the middle of your tent right under that light.
I've grown 4 under mine in a small space than yours.
I get better results without transplanting, I keep it real simple like direct sow my seed into final container.
I haven't anymore success using a 12" container than a 10". I usually grow a large plant in a 10" or sometimes I will keep small in a 6 or 8" container.

u can dig a ''tennis-ball'' hall inside ur final pot...apply some ''safe'' dirt..... plant ur seed...... cover with ''safe'' dirt...this way the seedling will grow enuff in ''safe'' soil before reaching ur ''dangerous'' soil mix...done it in the past with success...oor u might find an easier/better way...cheers :thumbs:

Thanks again man do you think i would just be better off having another 400w in with my current 400w or will i still need cfls in there along the side to help with growth all over?

Thats a really go idea i will do that, thank you! now i was wondering since im not using compost or anything will the composted manure be ok for use as my safe soil?

Oh you will def get better results with a 2nd 400w light.
I think you would not need the side lighting, but that could depend on the growth of your canopy.
Try a 1000w hps!!

Cool man well one of my friends has a spare 450w hps so it looks like im going to borrow it for a while
I hope the plants wont get to tall in my space

Righto that sorts that out.

Have you got an exhaust fan. Those two light will throw out some heat.

Fan to circulate air and fresh air into grow tent. All basics to consider.

Oh yeah sorry i forgot to mention il have two normal fans in the tent and i have the exhaust fan for one Carbon filter which i still have to buy yet. Will that be enough?

Two fans should be okay.
Do you have one to extract air out of your tent and one to draw fresh air in?
If that's it I would def consider an extra fan in your tent to circulate the air, some thing like a small desk fan.
Those lights will raise your temps
