Hey everyone,
First, big thanks to @gbd and @mephisto for making these and for the discount for Black Friday on them. I have told gbd and Mitch, but I actually had/have original Space Dawg seeds from Subcool over a decade ago. So I am pretty excited to see an Auto form of it! Good choice @gbd
Now on to the show. I only started 2 Cosmic Queens seeds. Both germed super FAST and we're above ground 12-24 hours later. I planted them in clear 9oz cups. I planned on transplanting 1 into Super Soil Coco and 1 into 1 gal pot with Airdome straight Char Coir Coco.
Well as my luck would continue with shipping issues, the store closest to me had their Coco stuck at Airport when I went, I ran out. I only use Char Coir. Won't switch. So, They did have Cloud Coir Coco, same thing..with Perlite. Needing some I picked it up. I have a Gold Glue and a Bluetoof in the Cloud Coir and they are doing very well. I did NOT use Airdomes. As the Perlite will make them dry out faster anyways.
So, I transplanted the 2 Cosmic Queens yesterday. We will call today day 9 from seed. The Cloud Coir was used in 1 gal pots. The Cloud Coir dries out much faster than regular Char Coir in those small 1 gal containers. No Airdomes needed with Cloud Coir in such a small pot. I would use in a 2 gal maybe with Airdomes. Risk of drying roots excessively goes up by a lot in a 1 gal pot with Airdomes. You really have to water often.
Will take pics tonight. They are growing fast already. I predict a couple really fast and healthy plants are headed my way.
