I'm confused by Tavid's atatements about your PPM.
seymour-buds had 7 day old seedlings at an EC of 1.2, which is around 600 or 800 PPM, depending on if your meter is 0.5 or 0.7 conversion factor.
I'm doing my first hydro and at 7 days i was on 840 PPM (using a 0.7 meter) and she was loving it, green and healthy.
I've ordered some calibration fluid for my meter in order to clarify things for myself, we need to be confident in our tools !
