Lighting 2 x Think Different DR60 GNMS0006 SCROG

Breaking branches or top cola, that is what I am afraid of when i think about SCRoG.

Will you cut everything bellow net now? I mean all small branches getting out of bigger branches?

What about leaves? Do you cut them?

Little tip bro is to LST and training before they have had a feed, this way there stems and such are easier to to move and are less stiff. You will find them much harder after a feed.

To be fair gonzo I've probably made an early mistake by having the scrog too low, so theres nothing really underneath the net, although I did debate with myself about cutting everything below the net on my previous grow and decided against it I wouldn't have cut the leaves though just the popcorn buds. Just because autos have such a short lifecycle i thought it would stunt them and affect my overall yield. But i might be wrong if anyone wants to chime in on that one :) I was struggling to get the cola underneath the net when it snapped. I might try LST a little earlier on next time round.

Thanks for the tip kip I do always try LST before feeding but was just unlucky this time. I've made a few mistakes this time round they don't seem to have taken to the feeding to great so have ended up with nute burn. Think I'm gonna change to light mix next time around and just ease up on the nutes :( you live you learn lol :peace:

Here's a few pics for day 40. Buds are starting to form and get chunky, trichs are getting more plentiful by the day lol but have had a bit of nute burn which has wound me up big time haha. Im hoping to learn from this though by changing my medium to light mix and ease on the nutes next time round! On a brighter note though I had a look at the picture from day 40 of my berry ryder grow and they look around the same size and also the humidity was 75% last time and now its 42%. The dehumidifier works! it's the delonghi dem10 and it was around £130 but I think they're definitely worth the money if you have issues with humidity or recirculating your air  as you can see in the pic i keep the dehumidifier just by the passive intake so that "treated air" is going into the tent :tiphat:

Looking good Lewb! The nute burn doesn't look too bad. Out of curiousity, how far above the screen did you let them grow?

Its got a little worse now lol to the top of the bud the highest at the minute is around 6 inches :smoke:

Love the set up with the dehumidifier.

Thanks Tang! it's not ideal but it seems to be doing the job  The pics are from day 52

So Things haven't gone too great with this grow at all. All silly mistakes which I hope I have now learned from! The nute burn is pretty bad and the plants haven't filled up the screen. I'm guessing a harvest of around two ounce which is half of my previous grow. I feel bad not only myself but for the plants! On a lighter note I have ordered the secret jardin ds120w which measures 120x60x170 for my next grow :) didn't know they did a size like this until I accidentally clicked onto it on ebay! So another msooo6 will be ordered soon too !:coffee2: The pics are from day 52

Keep em going bro you will get more than you expect.

Thanks Tang despite the problems I've had, I've still enjoyed the grow. I've never had a plant with so many much trich production. I think its going to be a knock out smoke... touch wood lol:Sharing One:

It's day 61 now and the end is in sight. I think another 2-3 weeks, The buds are looking nice chunky and they smell amazing! One new problem I've come across is the smell again. I had this problem on my last grow but I put it down to high humidity and a cheap carbon filter. I now have a rhino filter and the humidity is at 40% and you can smell it from the bottom of the stairs! So I whipped out the Ona blocks. I've took some out of the tub and put it in the ducting and I've kept the open tub at the bottom of the stairs and I must say I'm really impressed. I can't smell a thing anymore so if anyone has ever had the same problem I would certainly recommend the ona block. Although I really don't understand why my filter isn't doing its job?:dunno:
