Lighting 2 x Think Different DR60 GNMS0006 SCROG

Is your tent fully zipped etc, no leaks and such?

Is your fan pushing air through the filter or sucking air through it? It should be sucking to keep negative pressure in the tent and make more efficient use of the filter.

Also, how hard is that dehuey pushing air into the tent? that could cause some positive pressure.

Hi Mr Piggy. The fan is sucking air through the filter. Thats a good point about the dehumidifier I haven't thought of this. I wouldn't really say it's pushing into the tent though its just sat by the ducting so when the airs being drawn in it brings in the treated air. I've just put my hand over my exhaust fan and I can feel the breeze quite strong and my dehumidifier isn't as strong. I might pull it further out the way the just in case :tiphat: Thanks for that bro! was a good observation

I just got my DR60, my RVK 4" fan and filter is def having negative pressure in the tent. When its zipped up, it kind of sucks in a little-if you know what I mean! Working great, I had a budget fan at first and it did NOTHING lol. Now when I open my tent I smell plants, but not when it's closed.

Yeh mine definitely has negative pressure too. I used to have a budget fan aswell mate it was useless lol It is odd how the smell has just creeped up in the past 7-10 days though its bugging me lol

Depending on the size of your filter, it can only do so much. What I did with that problem was put the Ona Block inside of the carbon filter so that when the air is sent out of the room, it is hitting the ona block on the way out as well as being filtered on the way in.

! So I whipped out the Ona blocks. I've took some out of the tub and put it in the ducting and I've kept the open tub at the bottom of the stairs and I must say I'm really impressed. I can't smell a thing anymore so if anyone has ever had the same problem I would certainly recommend the ona block. Although I really don't understand why my filter isn't doing its job?:dunno:

ONA are a breakthrough, saved my ASS on my first harvest, esp when drying!

Good idea putting in the filter, going to do that myself!

When I changed to my tent (just yesterday) when I was installing my fan/filter, I noticed there was a slight rip in the ducting near the fan, that can't of been helping my situation. Worth a thorough check imho.

Ona is def a lifesaver!
Good luck man!
KARMA BRO!

I thought I was all set. Had my fan, my ducting, and my filter. Well not really. My critical cheese blew right through. So I got another filter and put it on the other end of the duct, much better but for my wife's sensitive not good enough. So I built a room, standard stuff, 2x4, sheetrock, insulation... She could still smell it!!! Oh man, so out came the Ona and a small ozone generator, all an improvement but she could still smell it!! Carp!!!! Oh well long story short version. I bought yet another filter! I now have two tents, each with a 6x14" filter and now my room has a 6x30" filter that exhausts into the house keeping negative pressure in the room. FINALLY no detectable odor.
Moral: Just keep trying things, and maybe a bigger filter!!

Don't ya just hate it when those damn Koi keep causing problems?
