Grow Mediums 2000 Watt Perpetual Hydroponic AutoFlower ScrOG

If you run this set up at capacity it is going to be a jungle! Would you mind if i slept under the left table just for a while? lol Im pumped to watch this get underway

time must be moving along really slow for you right now tavid my dude.

this thing is about to blow my mind!

Yeah, it sure is. It's actually a good thing they screwed up my order. I measured the tent, and I can actually squeeze 4 of the large hoods in the tent. Since they messed up my order I just changed it then so now I'll be running 3- 600 watters, and 1- 400 watter. Keeps it an even 2200 watts :hump:

Come on over man, lol. That may be my space for a while. I'm sure I'll have to check out the view there from time to time, lol.

Just dropped 14 Think Different beans in the cup to soak. After that I'll throw em in the paper towel and let them crack. Hoping for at least 12 seeds to germinate.
Lights should be here just in time. It's gonna be a Bright MOFO in there.

I do my math and I get 2200 watts, but anyways ;).. wattaya think about changing up the venting to eight in, split to two fours, which eventually join into a six inch with a booster at the end (I'm assuming your in air for the lights is coming from inside the house or other relatively warm, humidity controlled space). you can tune the fans with dimmers ( or equivalent resistors or whatever is available at your local electronics shop) and the tuned, essentially oversized fans will be QUIET!!! I've never been much of a fan (pun intended) of light tubes for heat control because they get dirty, sometimes condense at night, trap heat and shorten the light of bulbs, get dirty inside.. did I mention they get dirty, but say I needed them (like for 350 or so clones after their first transplant) in a room with limited heat control options, parallel ducting systems run MUCH cooler and therefore your last light in each series will run optimally for longer.. and if you;re like me and wantv to run autos for 20 hours straight or more forver.. well.. the quieter fans are just that much nicer./..

I looked back to page three (ini last post first setup) and I see that really things looked like sorta grander scale to me in the black and white than in the shiny silver.. sweet looking setup.. love the abs tables.

That makes a lot of sense. I think i'll do that with the venting. Should get a lot more life out of my bulbs, and stay cooler too. Yeah, the silver tops look cheezy as hell, but it's better than black plastic on my last grow. I'll probably lay some reflectix over em.
I edited the post to correct the shitty math. Good Lookin.

So, the ph probe on my Hanna Combo meter decided to take a shit today while I was adjusting the ph to soak the rockwool cubes. It was acting stupid and wouldn't give me a decent reading but I know the PH of my water and added 2 ml of ph down to a gallon of water and it should be close anyway. Shouldn't bother them for the first few days. Ordered another meter(not another Hanna Combo), but won't get it until Thursday :cuss:
It was stored with storage solution since my last grow, so I don't know. It is what it is. I wasn't all that happy with it from the start. The PH always had temper tantrums but I could usually get them under control by resetting the meter and recalibrating it a couple times. More work than I should have ever had to put into it so I'm glad it's gone really.

The Good News is all 14 Beans germinated and are into rockwool cubes until they are big enough to go into the tent. :smoke:

Scares me not knowing the PH of things right now though. I imagine one could start seeds with regular tap water just fine, but I like to keep shit spot on from the start.

Wish me luck...

UPDATE:

Day 1.

Got my Colloidal Silver Generator up, and running. I ended up with an extra 2 plants that I won't have room for so I'm going for full reversal on one, and will try to seed the other. We'll se how it goes, wish me luck. Doing it like I do everything else, just reading up and jumping in.

All seedlings have gotten rid of their shells, and have their first set of leaves.
I switched from rock, to hydroton because I didn't like the weight of all the rock.
The hydroton is pulling the PH up which I expected it to do but it should go away after a while.
Got all the ducting run throughout the tent. It's really starting to look good in there other than it's missing one large hood.
Really though, It's looking SWEET! REALLY liking the setup. I Can't WAIT to see what it looks like in a month!

Got part of my package today. Got both ballasts, bulbs, but only one hood. Apparently the other cooltube was broken during shipping, and sent back to the shipper before I even got it. Fuck whatever, I just hope they ship the replacement asap.

Will upload some pics tomorrow.
Peace.
