@maffro
The BigBang started first, now being 5-6 weeks in flower...I was surprised about the Widow being last to start flowering, along with the Nino and Himalaya in the middle.
The Himalaya Gold had a very nice sweet relaxing smell even before the flowers started to appear.
However, the Widow smell was a blow to the nose! A mixture of pepper, pine and salty meat:) I can't describe it properly, but was sure like nothing I've smelled before. Like an alien forest:D

Interesting smells then !!!
Will try Bigbang again then next time - thanx for the info

Maffro, good choice! Somehow the BB does not sound appealing, but it's goddamn good weed:)

Visited the spot yesterday and it surprised me how well the BB's doing. Just at two thirds of its flowering time, the buds grew a lot and the main cola looked astonishing, massive and compact, bou not to much.

It's obvious to be impressed, being my first grow, but I guess anyone would love it:)
The BB's smell was a surprise too. Reminded me of apple bubblegum with some other fruity aroma. Wasn't expecting that:)
The BB auto I once smelled(and smoked) was not even close.

Pulled a branch, being in the shadow, to save the plant's energy for other buds and after a very quick drying, smoked the proto-buds on it.:smoke:
It was not a great smoke, the plant is far from ripe, but I can tell it had some relaxing effect and most important, I felt an unexpected freshness in the throat for the next three hours.

I think it will be a great smoke and a good yielder also.

Pulled a WW branch too, going to test it later:D

A simple question, what would you choose to grow:

6x Chaze
3x Chaze, 3x Auto Mazar
7x Auto Mazar
7x Think Different
10x Sweet Mango(GHS)
...x Other?

Peace:thumbs:

If i could only grow one of those sets it would be.............. Hard question let me think !.................I havent grown the chase but its on the list for next season, havent grown the mango either, sooooo for yield id go for the thinkdiffs but for the smoke it would be the mazars............you might as well grow them alll !

hy Balarama,

I would recommend chaze and auto mazar's. I grew 3x mazars this year outdoor and i'm suprised by them. They grow fast and the are super hungry, so their tolerance to fertilizers are high. I have two in about 20L pots and one was in 10 L pot. I got 20 grams per plant less in smaller pot (about 10 grams) and i think i would get more if they had full sun. The smoke and smell are very good. Fruit aroma and skunky high (more body high). But if i have to choice to repeat grow next season i would take beacuse for autoflower its amazing.
But if you can take 3x think diffrent and 3x chaze, then take this mix. TD is a next level of automazar. About chaze i heard just a good things and name chaze that could be possible to grow outside its amazing. :toke:

what lattitude had you chosen your charts for?

go with Auto Mazar only!

.......@RAY You sure TD is superior to AutoMazar? I mean, the DP site says so, but I recall some growers said the Mazar is a better smoke. Bud then, maybe I'm wrong. Thinking more and more about DP seeds. .......@Akaman If you're asking me, my latitude is 45N, semi mediterranian climate. You think Mazars are stronger planst than TD's or maybe Chaze? .......However, It's nice to see my babies near finish. The BigBang has two more weeks(I guess), the others at least 3 or even 4. The feeling of watching them mature is new to me and I totally love it:) But of course, some questions and nervousness arise, mostly about doing a right dry and cure process. Planning to make an improvised room, cartboard walls and some nets for insect prevention, a dehumidifier and crossed fingers:) Any advice or link to relevant thread would be much appreciated. What if I put some AutoMazars in soil@mid april and while they finish around end july, put in some pot vegged photos?? Thats also an option.

Do you think 7 hrs. of sunlight is enough? I would try to find a spot with more sun. Every thing else sounds good though. Listen to muddy, he knows what he is saying. I like your idea of a greenhouse. I would make it in the patch for two reasons.
1. no transplant shock
2. no hardning off neaded

For photos, 7 hrs sun/day seems good, they like it:)
For autos I have no idea, sounds too little... Esp when I read about the 18/6 period, the 7hrs don't make sense if you want them to grow big. I better ask Stitch for advice about the Chaze(or Annapurna, No1) and light hours, because I almost decided to give it a try.

I don't know, the skepticism is kicking in again.

MrPiggy, aren't the MI5 bred for indoor? I think an indoor suited plant would struggle outdoors and give poor results:/ But again, I don't know, don't have the experience.
