oh for the light ours its the same as ophotos...its still the same plant remember and it will get more light than a photo if it blooms in summertime, theres even a lot of light when there is no sunshine hitting the plant :)

Like the idea of the potted plant going in after the autos, ill do something similar to that too.
I flowered a photo for a week then put it out in august and it did good (better than its mum anyway it was a cutting from this season) you could also force flower the photos if they are in pots then put them out ? If your at 45 lat then you probably dont need to worry about doing that !
The thinkdiffs are maturing too, reminds me a little of fresh Thai grass

Update:

Visited the spot and ... just marvelous:D

The BB is nearly finished, it is around week 7 and smells dank + a heavy basket full of ripe fruits. The pistils are mostly pink/red and most of trichomes are milky. I think I saw an amber trich.
Not sure if wait another couple of weeks or cut it down:/
Also found two brown caterpillars on it and some glued mini insects, the caterpillars don't let me sleep...I've been reading they can yum the inside of buds and accelerate mold, which is giving me nightmares:) Hope they dont spread on other plants!

The other plants are in very good shape, the Widow is full of white pistils and looking the latest of all(3 weeks till finish). The Nino is quite big(2,5m+) and will probably yield good. The Himalaya is not as tall but more leafy and will do great.

All this only if the caterpillars dont eat to much or better, if I kill them.:ama: But dont want to smoke the insecticides:/

Is it safe to dry the bud with an unnoticed caterpillar in it? That's my paranoia.
Better go to sleep!

Will probably update in the next days, but maybe next weekend.

:peace:

Hi everyone,
its been a whole month+ since I updated the thread. A very busy month:)

So, the plants are now thru cutting, drying(14 days) and are now curing in glass jars.

A brief resume of the situation(I will do a grow and smoke report once the pictures will be on the PC):

Plants - 4 plants(GHS coloured seed pack) BigBang, ElNino, HimalayaGold, WhiteWidow,(Cheese died).

Grow area - cca. 1,3 m^2(cca. 12 square feet), guerrilla

Total dry yield - around 320g(11,5 oz)

Mold - yes, all plants molded because of caterpillars and really bad weather during flowering period. Lost about 15% of buds, all main colas are partly gone due to caterpillar shit:(

Happy? - Of course, it's been a good harvest for a first try, but very happy because of gained experience!

Verdict - White Widow is the nicer smoke of all 4, BigBang smells like fruity flowers, but not potent at all, ElNino smells poorly(actually broken buds smell good, but unbroken dont), Himalaya Gold yielded and developed poorly(too small hole).

I guess the main two problems were too small holes, so plants didn't develop their full potential, second problem was the bad weather. Only 3 weeks of total sun, heavy overcast and frequent rain and strong wind, all contributed to the fact that the weed is not really potent as it could be.

Thats the only reason to be sad, but... 320gees in 22 glass jars is a view that makes you happy anytime:)

---------

On next year's prospect, there is the idea of an early LowRyder session(may-june) and a KC Brains 33/Spontanica/Mango for the rest of the season. I realised the plants I got this year were not bred exclusively for outdoors, I heard lots of advice to try KC.

Any thoughts?

Cheers:toke:

Here are two pics of the BigBang in weeks 6 and 7(macro). First pic is top cola, second is macro of side bud. It was harvested two storms and a week of clear but moist weather after the pics were taken. Slurp:)

Pic quality not good, taken with phone and macro thru a telescope eyepiece!

Really like that one!

I'll join this one and post mine soon

Good cola there Balarama sorry t hear about the other photos, maybe next time try the fresian dew, easy to grow and a very nice weed product.
Ive been looking at sweet mango grow reviews and it looks sweet, the flavour and taste seem to thebetter out of the Gh autos, all the growers i chatted with recomend the auto bomb too.

Thats nice to hear about the Sweet mango. Seen a video on grow.hd, looking kinda bushy and large. But...

I'm 95% decided to try two rounds of outdoor autos next season and I'm happy to wait and not buy seeds yet. Following the DP AutoX grows and wondering how would they do outside in mid may. Very nice looking plants.

Stumbled upon the Dinafem autos, particularly the Haze 2.0 auto and moby dick auto. Looking exactly what I want for next year, that'd be max 3 month/cycle plants with strong smoke+taste and a big yield. These Dinafem autos are quite pricey, IMO.

Still thinking super auto Flash seeds, bud concerned about their seed to harvest time. Not doable twice in a summer. :(
