Grow Mediums 24 grams: what went wrong

Hi,
Looking for some advice on what went wrong. My set up:

Crop King Low Flyer Dwarf x 2
Progrow 280 LED
Gorillat 2x2.5
120 CFM Can fan
Fabric pots
Coco w 30% perlite
Technoflora nutes at 25%-50%
Used LST method
Water every other feed
PH at 5.5-6.0
Temps between 75 and 85
Humidity at about 50%
Harvested at 60 days and barely got an ounce?

Crop King sells this as a 6-8 week and I went 60 days, milky white trichomes. After drying and trimming it was about 24 grams. That just doesn't seem normal given the effort. Never had any nutrient issues or weird things and the plants seemed pretty happy.

I let a third one go about a week longer and the buds look a little bigger with just a few amber trichs, but I still have to finish drying.

What size fabric pots also I don't think it was a high yielding strain. Was the 24g from 1 or 2 plants ?

maybe nothing went wrong.it has dwarf in its name so im guessing its meant to be a lil plant.

24 grams from 2 plants each in 3 gallon smartpots.

Maybe you didn't leave it long enough for the buds to put on much weight. I just grew Northern Lights auto. Sensi Seed say the should be ready in 60-90days, but they went on for about 110days and I could've left them longer. It was surprising just how much weight they pilled on during the last 2wks. It could also just be the plant. I had one Northern Light that weighed in at 2oz, while the other gave me around 5-6oz. The fact yours is a dwarf strain might say it all, really. Try not to feel discouraged. Find another strain and give it another go. Was this your first grow? Do you have any pics of buds?

First time grower myself in 100% coco. I think this is your problem:

"Always run the nutrients in any water applied to the medium at a minimum of 600 ppm or EC = 0.8"

I took me a while to realize this. I was afraid of salt build ups, but as long as you get 10-20% run off, then it should not be a problem.

I'm just starting my second grow and there is a lot less stress involved...good luck

I am 28 days into my first grow and I have 5 plants. Two are Fast buds strains. One looks like it will be a producer one I think is a little more of a challenge. the other 3 are from a mix so I am not sure what they are. 2 of those 3 are small compared to the rest of the plants and since these are my first autos I have no way of predicting but I would be happy if they produced 14 grams each. I guess it's all in the gene's.

I have to agree with @DunkingDave on the watering schedule. With Coco the more frequent you water the more oxygen your roots get and the quicker your plants will grow.


It's also possible to have your led to low and slow down your plants growth without causing any bleaching or even any significant calcium magnesium issues.

Sometimes Growers new to Coco will allow that Coco to dry out a bit before they water. This will cause their roots to stunt and die back and the plant will stay perpetually small. As soon as your plant is large enough to tolerate flooding your entire pot you should always flood your entire pot and get some runoff.

I listed those three things because they will give you a normal looking plant but your plant will just stay small.
