Makes me wish I had more space lol. Gonna be swimming in bud soon.

I haven't tried any transplanting but if you can DIY yourself some smart pots you can get 4~4.5gallons of soil in a 8"x8"x15" tall square design. I can fit 18 plants where I used to fit 8 in 5gallon smartpots.

You could squeeze 27 of those under a 600w with and it would take up about 1.2m x 1.2m.

Looking good, im pretty sure you dont need all that power on in veg, maybe rearrange the lights. I would just have 2 x 400, also rotate the plants daily so they all get some of the sweet spot from the lights. Thats what I would do with the current lights you have.

The problem is good even coverage with less light. They're taking up like a sq ft of space each plant and 75% of the light that's over them hits the dirt not the plant. 400w per sq meter is a good number for veg. 600w will do great in flower.

@Atulip great pots! What material you made them from? I got a misses with a sewing machine

I know I don't need all this power for vegging but the strain as far as I am aware needs to be started in its finishing pot , they are supposed to be 17 litre pots but I used around 20 liters in each, so basically I cannot cram them under 2 lights, I also want to make sure I get the max outta these baby's , I read some good stuff in others grows with these and very good yielders.... In fact all mephistos stuff is always great quality, it's yields have been my cock ups not using big enough pots or neglect which has meant I have not been able to get the best from them,,, These I am going to be trying hardest , I go in there a few times a day now I love them ....

That's DeWitt weed barrier pro, but any landscape fabric should work. I'd think thicker as better, as long as your sewing machine will handle it.

Square 8"x8"x15" should hold 4 gallons, 15 liters. 9"x9"x15" would hold 5gal, 19L. 9" square will still fit 27 pots within a 1.2m x 1.2m, early veg under 600w, late veg spread them under 2, flower put them at all 3 lights like you have now.

Main thing is the square shape makes better use of space and a little taller keeps the soil size up. Then they can be spread out later when they need more space.

Drainage seems just as good as smart pots and this stuff is like $20 a 3x50foot roll.

I think something i doing quite wrong,, , i reckon it was my greenhouse propane gas heater in the tent giving off the C02 when it was not hot enough for the plants to take it in,, after reading through weedmans grow of ripleys look at his for day 18! wow https://www.autoflower.org/threads/ripleys-og-sour-hound-journal.46284/ well i removed the propane heater and put the lights on to heat the tent........

seems they perked up already,, dont wanna bore with crap pics just yet,, a few days and then anyone is free to use the info as a comparison (including me as i get lost on days/dates etc)

maybe my rooting take longer with little bigger pots .. got nick turner hawkwind in me ear GREATTTTT

Day 22,
I removed greenhouse propane gas heater a few days ago and they have perked up a hell of a lot since, no more droopy leaves or slow growth now, looks like giving c02 from the gas is not good if the temperature is not hot enough and the plant to small,

Learnt something there,
The specs on leaves are where I have for feed on the as I am hand watering via watering can

The 2 close up of the girls , first one is that under the plasma , you can see how many nodes and how close they are(stumpy) the second pic is that of a girl other side that is not getting any light from the plasma so the light does have a effect indeed

hi all,
Day 27

I must say I am a little worried as they seem small looking to what I have read of others growing these, I would appreciate any comments , they cannot be higher then one foot , please see the picture with hand spray for size comparisons.... Anyone is this a bit small for day 27?

I have had lights on permintly for last week near enough as it got far to cold if the lights went out,,can someone tell
Me is it better to give them four hours Darkness and have a oil electric rad in with them or just run the lights? Either way the lecy bill high just wanna do what best....

Also I have them a good water other day an think that has over cooled them an slowed them ,,,,,

I maybe let them dry out completely now before another water

Any ideas on what's going on with the sizes ?
