New Grower 2nd easy ryder grow.

crumbs what a chore that was to get pics on this site. any how the first pic is 1st lady at one week, second pic is 1st lady at 2 weeks. 3rd pic is lady 2 at 2 weeks old. last pics is 1st lady but side on.
as you can see there is a big difference in size of the two plants. 1st lady is growing in house of gardens special bat mix under a 125w blue spectrum cfl, lady 2 is growing in soil from a tamatoe grow bag under a 65w blue cfl. i was gonna do this whole grow with no nutes but have decided to use some tomatoe grow fertalizer. its called tomatoerite from levingtons. was gonna try some nutes as surgested but after looking into it i think i would be stupid to be spending out over £300 for a full range of nutes just to grow some weed. didnt need it in my last grow and got 35g of dried bud from my first ever easy ryder grow. all fans(intake and exhaust) are still not being used. temps are about 60deg which is a little lower than i want but i know this will go up when i get the 250w cfl in and the side lighting so at the moment not too worried about temps. still useing rain water at room temp every other day. light cycle is 20/4. now i have worked out how to upload pics(which was an absolute nightmare) i will keep posting. i know its far too early to say for sure but 1st lady is growing exactly how my last grow went so hopefully as long as i dont let the lamp fall on top of the plant i should be looking at well over 35g on her. any how ive waffled on long enough for this post. if anyone can see anything bad i havent noticed about the plants feel free to comment. i may well ignore any advise but sometimes the only way to learn and win is to ignore and lose. happy toking (mmmm me thinks its spliff o'clock) puff puff pass

oh p.s..... i will be nameing my ladys once i have worked out thier personalitys.

day18a.jpgday18.jpg1st easy ryder at day 18. still just water with rain water, no ferts used. no checking of ph as rain water is nuetral ph. fans still off and shes growing great. will post pics tomorrow of both plants for some silly reason camera phone decided to pack up befor i could take pics of second plant. so how is she looking for 18 days old?????????
keep toking

They are looking great! Healthy and lush! Just one observation the node spacing is very tight... Possible to move light a bit further away?
Yodabuds

They look good I agree with node spacing being tight. I would deffently try to get it Rou d one in.

Welcome mrbeaver, interesting little project you got going there buddy, really hope it goes well for you. This is why i love this site and the people who populate it, a guy comes on and says "stuff all the messing around i'm gonna drop my beans and let them do their stuff practically unaided" and expert growers come on and offer encouragement, having browsed other sites before joining this one someone would have screamed down mrbeaver "YOU CAN'T DO THAT!!", Thank the cannabis gods that AFN is home to a wide spectrum of broad minded people and positivity, no-one is right and no-one is wrong, the diversity is what makes this site such an interesting place. Good luck mrbeaver will be following your grow with interest:thumbs:

thanks yodabubs. i was thinking the nodes are tighter than a nuns chuff. i will move lights as soon as i get home. dont really want to start lst ing but might have to due to space issues when she starts to stretch. deffinately glad for all help with my easy come easy go attitude to growing. i understand with nutes and more air circulation i could get maybe a bigger better plant but still only my second grow so dont want to fuck things up. glad all you guys are watching my back.
keep toking.

ok... day 19 and both plants showing sex......yay .. both are female.
here goes the biggest plant is named Zebedee(not a female name but seems to fit its personality). its bursting with life .lol.
small plant is named Ermintrude because its growing at a snails pace. lol. if you havent guessed yet they are name after caracters from the childrens show the magic roundabout.(UK readers should understand why i picked that programe to take names from). lol.

after listening to advise i have move plants away from lights to the internode spaceing( was very tight) hopefully not done any harm to Zebedee. think i had the light far too close to Ermintrude tho. but it could be just different jenes. you can see the difference in plants from the pics..
question for anyone following this grow. should i change light from blue to red now or wait a little longer.and if so when should i change. my last grow i changed the lights as soon as it showed sex but this grow they have shown a week earlier. doh.
when i do change bulbs they we be 1x250w red cfl over Zebedee and 1x65w red cfl over Ermintrude. i also have 5x11w reds for side lighting which will be upgraded to 5x35w cfl. might possibly upgrade lights and use all the 11w and the new 35w at the same time. dont have my caculater to hand but with all those bulbs there will be a fuck load of lumens. if my mental calculations are even a little close that should end up at about 35,000 lumens in the box in total. lol. maybe a little overkill but hey (i dont know the effect of all that much lumens till i try).
well thats it for today. please take a look at the pics, and again if you see anything i dont please please please comment.

Looking good mrbeaver, like the names of your ladies...hopefully they'll end up making you as chilled as Dylan the rabbit:toke:

zebedeeday21a.jpgzebedeeday21.jpglady2day21a.jpglady2day21.jpg 1st two pics are of Zebedee at day 21. i have moved lights and they are stretching a bit now.
Ermintrude has reacted well to the lights being moved. so all is still well.
ive decided( unless anyone thinks different) to change the lights when they are a month old.
